My Fiance is currently taking part in a beard growing contest at work. He hasn’t shaved or trimmed his beard OR mustache since early October. I hate it and he knows it.

Yeah, a lot of guys do it in November, it’s not new.

Darling Husband has a beard…I LOVE nice beards (the more trimmed variety) on some men…so yummy (others, not so much).  Some celebrities are so much more attractive with beards that I’m not even attracted to them at all without them!  I have always thought this, so it’s nothing new to me.

DH’s is very well kept, but I won’t let him shave it off. haha.

I am not a fan of facial hair – it’s a turn off. My fiance is a grown man and he can do whatever he wants with his face, and I will still love him, but he knows I find him sexiest with a clean-shaven face.

My SO never lets it grow out to the point where it’s actually soft.  He has perpetual stubble… long enough to not be considered clean shaven, short enough to act like little knives poking me in the chin everytime we kiss.  But I love him, so I work with it :-).

Hubby has a beard right now for the winter, it’s not a new thing. I think it’s so hot when a guy can grow a good beard, not like a few hairs here and there or when it’s patchy (gross), it has to be completely even and filled out. My favorite is when it’s a bit longer than a five o’clock shadow. When he doesn’t shave or trim for 2 weeks and he starts getting stopped at the mall by people asking if he’s Zach Galifianakis, that’s when I know that it’s time for him to trim it.

@ms_margarita:  DH wants to have facial hair but I told him no. I dont like the way it look or feels when I kiss him. So he wont.

I like to say that FH has a permanent 5 o’clock shadow, lol. He shaves every couple of days. I’ve never seen him with a beard.

My Fiance has one, not quite a full beard, and he keeps it pretty tidy and it’s really flattering on him.

If he wanted to grow a mountain man beard, I would not like it, and I’d tell him so! He has a right to know what his future wife does and does not think looks good on him.

I told him a while ago that I wanted to see his whole face before we got married,  and a couple months ago he shaved it all off. I’m happy I saw it, and I got used to it, but I like the beard a lot more! It also makes him look more mature. But now I’ve been able to make a fully informed decision that I want him to have the beard on our wedding day. 🙂

@ms_margarita:  I think other PPs are correct that it has to do with Movember. No Shave November is similar, but it isn’t attached to any particular cause that I know of, while Movember helps raise money and awareness for Men’s Health Issues (such as Prostate Cancer and Mental Health Awareness).

Fiance has had a beard longer then I’ve known him (more of a goatee that attaches to a moustache, so just centered around his mouth). He’s always looked awesome with it, but it can be a bit scratchy at times. He keeps it very well-groomed though, so I can’t complain.

I love my man’s facial hair, but he already had it before the trend.

I wasn’t aware of a trend, but my H has a beard mostly to keep him warm during ski season and it’s less work in the AM.

Fiance had a goatee/beard about 10 years ago but when I met him he was clean shaven. I begged him to grow one this year and he did in this past fall. I LOVE IT! It’s so manly and sexy!

My Darling Husband has the stash and a goatee, when lazy it starts to go to a beard which I hate the Mt Man look YUCK.  Stash/goatee I like anything beyond that looks just lazy

My Fiance has a small beard. It just kind of stops when it gets to a certain length though. Haha.

But my brother…. He has a huge beard (has had it for at least 5 years.) He’s obsessed.
