marriedalready69:  You already know about my project but I’ll post my updates here too! I’m replacing my swiss blue topaz for a pink moissanite. I bought my loose 5×7 radiant (well they call it a rectangular octagonal) stone from jtv. It was a smokin deal at $169! It should be here on Friday.

Here’s my halo now

Here’s the website imagine of the pink moissy

and here’s a picture I found of what my ring might look similar too when finished!

My latest project is a 1.1 carat L color vs1 clarity oval diamond with medium flour. And a 1.4 length to width ratio. It will likely be set in a double halo (still havent 100% made up my mind). The picture of the diamond is a screenshot of a video so the diamond is slightly turned here. To enhance the warmth of the L color I will be going with F-G diamond melee and possibly yellow gold prongs and or yellow gold gallery with the rest of the ring in white gold, depending on how warm it looks in person. I’m still waiting on the diamond to arrive so I’ll post more pics when it gets here later this week.  The setting shown is made by jamesallen found on pricescope, but I will probably have David klass replicate it.

Peaceoutboyscout:  are you keeping your white gold setting or going with rose gold? I think pink stones look amazing in white gold for some contrast! Like this..

MrsSparkleBee13:  Definitely keeping the white gold. rose gold disappears on my hand, and I just don’t care for yellow.

marriedalready69:  I’m super excited! I know this ring will not be everyone’s cup of tea and I’m sure it will make it on the chickens “interesting rings ” thread.  I’ve always loved low color grade stones set with colorless diamonds. I just pray it turns out the way I’ve envisioned!

Ukulele4You:  I hope so!! I want the color difference to look intentional so I’m thinking the yellow gold prongs will give it the look I’m going for. DiamondsByLauren is definitly my inspiration for this ring. I’ve seen so many K,L,M color diamonds that look fairly colorless on their site until they add those yellow gold prongs and it looks amazing!
