@EmeleeRose  Wow, that really turned out gorgeous! Love the mixed metals, it compliments the stone perfectly.

@MrsSparkleBee13  thank you! I love it too! I can’t wait to see how my solitaire to halo turns out. And I can’t wait to see what you choose for that stunning warm oval!

@lavenderstone  thank you. I was considering Rhoduium plating the whole ring but I don’t think im going to as I really love the mix metal look too. My next project he is currently working on will be a yellow gold band with a white gold halo. My centre diamond is a light fancy yellow so hopefully the contrast between the white gold will make that pop!

I got to go see the wax molds for my rings today! Apologies in advance for the terrible quality of these photos, haha. The “drill marks” to set the stones in were just done to give me a quick idea, they will obviously not be spaced like this in the halo. I’m really excited! The head and detail work underneath the engagement ring will be white gold with rose gold shoulders/band and then all rose gold for the wedding band 🙂 All of the milgrain detailing will be done by hand… I can’t wait to see! They said three to four weeks, eek.

Some of the stones being used. The e-ring sapphire is upside down in this! But I’m so happy with the colour match they found for the sapphires in the wedding band.

@MrsSparkleBee13 Thank you! I’ll be wearing the engagement ring right away, but there’ll be a couple months to wait for the wedding band. I’m glad it’s only that long because I’m already impatient 😉

@atoizzard  would you happen to remember the size of the oval sapphire in the that ring? Just trying to get some perspective on finger coverage and what not. Also, what’s your ring size?

@MrsSparkleBee13  yep I do actually! The jeweler showed it to me to gauge center stone size, it was the closest design he had to what I was looking for. It was .9 ct/7x5mm and my size is a 5. I don’t think the ring was a size 5, it was probably a 6 or 7. The band is 2.4mm. Here’s another closer shot:
