MrsSparkleBee13:  your ring is going to be lovely.  I was wondering if you were starting a new project when I saw your ring on the bistro.  I’m excited for you!

Well my hubby and I were talking last night and I guess I’m going to be having a setting made for my emerald cut moissy sooner than I thought, early spring! It will be considered my ” push present ” for the arrival of our baby girl the beginning of May ๐Ÿ™‚

So this pretty little thing will be a right hand ring to stack above my trinity / rolling ring. I’ve decided that setting it east west will look better stacked since my rolling ring is on the thicker side. It will either be set in a yellow gold east west bezel solitaire ring setting or a white gold east west double claw prong solitaire ring.

And shown with my rolling ring ( Ignore the radiant cut moissy in the pic)

My inspirations ๐Ÿ™‚

Second ring from the top but with a thinner shank and no milgrain

earlybirdwing:  thanks girl! And yeah I decided it was probably best to sell my AG halo because knowing myself, once the new ring is finished it would get stuck in the safe along with my other past bling never to be worn again. Another reason I sold it (which may sound silly) is that I was worried that since my amora is quite a bit larger than my oval that I would compare them too much and feel like the oval is small, which I know is ridiculous because 1.1 carat isn’t small! I figured that I could make some money back and someone else could enjoy it, so win/win! I’m super excited and just hope that I still love the diamond once it arrives, it’s taking forever to get here so I imagine exchanging it for another diamond will be a headache!

marriedalready69:  that ring is going to be beautiful! I just love the twist band plus the east west set marquise!  If I didn’t plan to stack this rhr with a 3 toned ring, I would have definitely chosen a twisty shank ๐Ÿ™‚

My stone came today. Holding it I am thinking maybe a brooch would be better. I wanted a stupid large ring to wear a few times a year but now I am thinking that will not work.

Ukulele4You:  oooo please consider a necklace! I can see the spider clinging to that stone, swinging from a silvery chain!

Whatever you do with it that stone is lovely, and I love your spider design.

I may have my very first project coming up!

My mom’s officially passing down her 1.13 carat RB to me next month and I have nooo idea what to do with it. Maybe seeing all your projects will inspire me! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ukulele4You:  It’s a gorgeous stone! I love the color. It might work better as a brooch, but it would also be a wonderful necklace. I agree with PPs: I love your spider design.

Ukulele4You:  It’s a round brilliant. Idk what the exact cut grade is though since my mom doesn’t have papers for it anymore. She only remembers that it’s 1.13 because 13 is her lucky number.
