The BEEgest Loser is back for another 4 week round!
Want to join in? It’s easy! Just reply to this post with your starting weight and a little info about you… what your goals are for the next four weeks, the areas you feel you need to work on, etc. Or you can send me a PM if you’d like to keep your weight private.
Drop by a few times a week to let everyone know how you are doing and to provide support to the other Bees participating. The more activity on the thread the better, and I’m always around if you need anything! I’m already planning out the workout challenges and I’m pulling a few recipes for everyone’s enjoyment (and a new avatar for the weekly winners!)
Weigh-ins: The weigh in thread will be posted to the fitness board on Thursday evenings (this is mostly to accomodate any east coast bees, since I’m on the west coast) and you will have until 3:30pm on Friday to get me your current weight.

142.0…..same as weeks 3&4 of the last round 😛
Goals this round…..be solidly in the 130’s for the first time since at least freshman year of college! Work on toning up to look fabulous in spring clothes for the lovely weather coming up.
Oh, and kick this stinking cold/respiratory disease so I stop feeling like death and having to skip workouts!

Starting weight – 167
Goal weight – 160 but as I’ve said before probably isn’t going to happen. So I’m going to say 5 pounds – to take me to 162.
Plan for this round is to really keep doing what I’ve been doing. I’ve found it’s working (just slowler!) and it’s manageable for me. I’d like to try to up my gym time back to what it was when I first started. I’ve been mixing it up – and now want to head back to the elliptical 3/4 time a week.

I’d like to join! I’m starting Insanity today. Current weight is 147 and I’d like to lose 7 lbs.

OK starting weight 159.5
Ultimate goal = 135
This round my goal is to lose 3-5 pounds. I am trying to go easy on myself so that I don’t get discouraged.
Walk 4 days during my lunch break. Work out 3-4 nights a week including sit ups and push ups.
Do not eat out more than 2 times per week.

Alright so…. starting weight is 187.7… and I’m hanging my head in shame. We did so much physical labor this weekend (moving) and we just ate like crap. It’s mostly the eating driving to and from each house, so I put I plan in place.
We are planning to take a load of stuff over each night, so first thing thats going over is dinner items. That way we can eat at the new place before going to the old place and not be tempted to pick up fast food on the way home. I think it’s a good plan! I want to focus on diet this week because working out isn’t probably going to happen much.
Overall goals over the next four weeks, I’d like to get back down to 184-182ish and after the move this week I want to get back in the gym and get back to a routine!

Still stuck at 140.5….ugh! So annoyed! changing up my workouts a bit this week and being more diligent with tracking my food!
Fingers crossed I can get into the 130’s in time for Florida next Friday!

I’m new and need something like this to keep me honest. 🙂
Starting weight (as of this morning) 125 lbs. (I’m 5’2″.)
Dietary goals: No added sugar, no white carbs and minimal grains. Eat vegetables with every meal — try to eat at least 2 lbs of veggies (cooked and raw) per day. Drink more water. Try to choke down some green tea every day. Avoid alcohol except 1 drink on Sat. night (restaurant night).
Fitness goals: Continue strength training (slowly working through 100 pushups, 200 squats and 150 dips, plus doing planks and some other at-home resistance and dumbbell exercises). Walk (and maybe jog a little – blech) 25 miles a week.
Goal weight for 4 weeks from now: 121 lbs.

Starting weight 160.6
My goal is still to be in the 150s by the end of the week.
My wedding is in 33 So I know there is no way of hitting my begining goal weight of 130 but that’s ok.
My second dress fitting is tomorrow and I’m scared the seamstress is going to tell me not to lose anymore weight.
I still haven’t incorporated any exercise into my daily routine and now I see it starting to show. Sure I’m losing weight but it’s all saging skin. I am going to try my best to start at least arm weights this week.

I will throw my hat in the ring-
Weight as of today- 119
Ultimate Goal Weight- 104
My goal for the next four weeks- 116 (it’s taken my almost 2 months to lose 6 pounds so I just don’t see how I can lose more than 3 in 4 weeks).
My problem areas- oh where to start. My thighs are jiggly, I have a potbelly (although losing the 6 pounds did tighten that up some) I have cellulite on the backs of my upper legs, and two little pockets of back fat right above my hips. Also, I don’t lose weight evenly so I have to deal with skinny arms and a gaunt face if I want my lower body to lean out. I am working to build up my arm muscles hoping that combats part of the problem so my husband and parents stop telling me I look too skinny (I’m not, but if you looked at just my face and arms it’s deceptive).
What I am doing: limiting carbs, and sugar, trying to get more protein and drink more water. I don’t really bother with counting calories since by limiting carbs that takes care of that mostly. I am doing sprints and power walking several times a week and doing muscle work with kettlebells and free weights 5 days a week.

Ive lost 10 lbs since december just by eating better! Im not really into working out! Substituting good for bad, like greek ougurt for sour cream- is important. So much better! Dont forget your protein! It sparks ormones you need to lose weight!

I think I’m 170 but I will double check when I get home tonite.
My goal is to get to 166 and get a flatter stomach.
I will do some P90x exercises and go to the gym. I am already juicing vegetables and fruits, but have taken out rice, breads, sugar, fried foods out of my diet.

I’lll join again :). I’m down to 205 (a couple rounds ago I participated and ended up at 217, I think). Overall I’ve lost about 20-25 pounds since October. It’s been slow going, but it’s still going at least. OH, and I’m 5’7-ish
My goal for the next month is to exercise more and try to eat more balanced meals. I’ve been having some blood sugar issues, so I want to make sure I regularly eat small meals and have some protein to keep me going. I’d really like to get under 200 for the first time in years :). And by my wedding in 11 weeks I’d like to be at 190.

I have a little less than 3 months till the wedding, so I’m hoping to lose at least some of my goal of 20 lbs by that time.
Changes in Diet: 1 gal of water a day, cutting out sugars and soft drinks, No fast food
