What?! I’m the first to go this time huh? Ok….
Starting weight: 167.0
Week 1 weight: 165.6
Meeting my lose a lb a week goal! So I guess I cannot complain 🙂 I’m trying to break the 165 slump I have going on…it seems to be my current plateau but being honest–I had quit working out like I should and I wasn’t counting my calories anymore so yeah I had quite a few ‘bad’ days. Getting back on track feels good…but of course we’re going out of town tonight (just overnight) so I hope it doesn’t way-lay me!

Starting weight: 119. Weigh in this morning- 119
Pretty bummed, but my body’s happy weight is 120 so every pound below that is going to be a struggle and a half. I didn’t eat too bad this week but I probably cheated a tiny bit here and there every day.
My biggest problem has been trying to eat mostly lean protein while getting all my carbs from fruits and veggies. This is not only hard from a ‘damn I miss cereal and bread’ point of view, but even getting 1200 calories a day from just veggies and lean protein is next to impossible. A lean cut of meat generally has around 200 calories- I can’t eat 6 chicken breasts every day! Vegetables have under 50 calories per serving. I’m sticking to low carb, high fiber fruits like strawberries, and those don’t have a ton of calories either. So, my choices are, go below 1200 calories per day, or eat a bowl of cereal (or some kind of high fiber grain carb). Since I am busting my ass to build muscles I don’t want to jeopardize that so I have been going with option B.
The good? Although I did not lose any weight, I was able to fit comfortably into a pair of pants that I haven’t worn since before I got pregnant. In 2009 I lost about 10 pounds (very stressful period where I was not eating) and optimistically bought these pants. As I put the weight back on they got tighter and tighter. Once I got pregnant in 2011 I thought I’d have to permanently retire them. Not so! They fit perfectly yesterday.

I don’t know what to attribute my success to, as I had a sick day a couple days ago where I stayed home and ate nothing but crap and since I’ve been feeling bad, I haven’t exercised at all. Maybe I’m dehydrated?? But anyway, other than that one day, I’ve been pretty goad about eating a lot of veggies and avoiding starchy carbs, so I’ll keep on trucking.

trying to get back in the habit of eating healthy after a week of vacation has been tough. i was hoping to make it to ONEderland this week but i guess that is my goal for next week

Starting weight 153 after week one weight is 152.1 almost a pound. I did pretty good and I can tell I am losing inches off my waist by the way my pants fit me this week eliminating all carbs and eating more fruits and vegtables, also running at least twice this week. with 3 days of zumba and two of kickboxing…lets get it ladies

Bee’s, I know how to maintain really well! But I don’t want to be here anymore! So annoying. Anyway, my week went well. I only ate out 1 meal 🙂 so that goal was met. Only did my lunchtime walk/jog twice this week and forgot my shoes today! So, I will have to do extra tonight. Eating wise I did really well. I’m going to keep the same goals as last week and hopefully, next Friday will be my large loss I’ve been looking for.

Grr…only 0.4 lbs. I have been staying well within my calorie limit and doing my Insanity workouts every morning. I was expecting to see a bigger drop. But I think I’m a bit bloated since I’m about to get my period. Ugh!

Actually surprised I only gained a pound. Fiance and I went out to eat late at night every night last week.
Finding it hard to stay on track now that I had my dress fitting and It fit like a dream.
I did start my arm exercises last week and this week hoping to add some ab work in.

No change…hanging steady at 140…I guess it could be worse and I could be going up but with 4 JM workouts and 2 cardio workouts I figured I would have at least dropped a half pound! 🙁
