This week is going to be really hard.

My parents are in town and so we are eating out a lot.

I tried to be good yesterday but we had food from an open air market for lunch. I went with ethiopian food because the line for the halloumi wrap I wanted was all the way around the stall and everything else was SUPER unhealthy (like giant arrancini balls, sausage sandwiches, etc).

Dinner I had a halloumi and couscous salad (rather than classic pub food) but since we were at a pub there was a beer component as well.

Yesterday we did a bit of walking, but less than my normal exercise and today we are seeing a musical and going out to dinner!

All this eating out I feel is going to lead to a big gain next week. Monday we should spend all day walking around some botanical gardens, so that should help but this is realy tough.

KatNYC, I feel your pain! I had lots on this weekend, birthday dinners and work do’s etc, so much eating. And with this amazing London weather it’s impossible not to have a few pints and nibbles in the sun! I feel this weekend has completely undone all of my efforts last week. Just try to walk as much as you can

Well this weekend is hard on the waistline. Embarassed

All that yummy cookout food is really getting to me. Al least Darling Husband and I are going on a super long walk tomorrow.

Well, after a three day weekend of cookouts and parties, my scale is a lot less happy!Cry

I definitely gained weight this weekend (I can’t be alone here). I am working on getting that weight back off now. I only have 46 more days before Darling Husband and I are going to Jamaica…why must I always be a last minute sally.

How’s everyone else doing?

I’ve really sucked on working out this week.  To make up for it I’ve been really good with my food, but I’m still angry with myself that I didn’t work out more.  I made Fiance promise me he would MAKE me run tonight.

Alllright, I’m finally back from the beach! I’m getting back on track with everything tomorrow. Because of my dive trip/beach I haven’t work out in 2 weeks! I also ate like total crap at the beach. I had ice cream every single night. Not really even ice cream, it was custard which I’m pretty sure is worse. It was soooo yummy though! I’m not even going to step onto a scale until NEXT weeks weigh in. I can’t bare to see that number!

I’m doing so badly! The weekend was full of social occasions (= a lot of drinking followed by hangover food) and I’ve spent all week trying to make up for it. So far I’m up a pound from last week :’-(

@Novemberfriends:  I’m still up a pound from last week too. I had total “sticker shock” (so to speak), when I stepped on the scale on Tuesday morning. I’m getting back into the right range now but sheesh…what a weekend!

Sounds like we’ve all been in a similar boat! Maybe we could pretend this week’s weigh-in doesn’t really count, and try twice as hard next week!

I just ate three milky bars. :-/
