Got invited to dinner at Olive Garden tonight… it’s so silly that I’m nervous about eating out! So much sodium! And carbs! I’ve promised myself that I will be good… because not even those breadsticks taste as good as loose jeans feel!

How’s your weekend going everyone?
I think I did pretty well at dinner last night… I ordered the salmon with steamed veggies, ate a little bit of salad (minus the crutons) and I resisted the breadsticks (whaaaat?).
I weighed in this morning at 152.4 (up from last weigh-in, but down .4 from yesterday). AF showed up this morning, which explains it! I usually gain about 1-2 pounds of water weight which goes away pretty quickly. Hopefully it won’t ruin my next weigh in!

@shambley: I had Pizza Hut Friday night and it messed me up, but I was good yesterday and so far today so I’m hoping it doesn’t mess with me TOO much! We leave for DC at 5:30 in the morning, which I dread honestly because I hate waking up LOL 🙂 But we are eating almost all our meals at FH grandparents house and only 1-2 out to eat meals, so I think I will be ok! I do not know if they will have a scale for me to weigh in on this Friday though–I hope so, but we will see.
Otherwise, the weekend went ok. Got a LOT of shopping done! I scored a $100 jacket at Kohl’s on clearance for $20, just made my weekend!

@andilene: Dang girl, what a steal!! I love DC and I’m jealous you’re going! It’s nice that you won’t have to be eating out ALL the time, that should really help. Vacations are so hard — I’m leaving Wednesday to go out of town too… I’m nervous! I’m even packing a scale, my magic bullet, and protein powder (obsessed much?). I’m just so dang close to the 140’s that I don’t want to mess anything up!
And I know, I think that was the first time in my LIFE that I have ever turned down a piece of bread (let alone a garlicy butter covered piece of bread!)

Oh! I also meant to share that I made these:
Frozen Chocolate Kisses! Ladies, these are delicious! I followed the recipe exactly (but I added about a tablespoon of cocoa powder to make them more chocolate-y) and they came out great! They satisfy my chocolate cravings but they are low carb. I actually like them more than regular Hershey’s kisses because they aren’t quite as sweet.

@shambley: This is my first DC trip and my first time to spend any REAL time with FH grandparents so I’m kind of nervous. I’ve met them a few times but we haven’t spent time in the same place so much. We are completely excited though…my FH’s mom has always kind of controlled the relationship with these grandparents (his Dad’s parents) so they still kind of act like he is 10 or something, and he’s anxious to show them that he is an adult and can manage a family/life. I guess the fact that he’s bought a house, got engaged, adopting my son, and getting married this summer isn’t enough LOL

Morning ladies! I did not make the best food choices this weekend, but I also recognize that I could’ve been worse, so I guess I’ll call this weekend a wash. How did everyone else do? (and woohoo at being #2 this week! Congrats shambley!)

So….I worked out both weekend mornings! yay for me. Food wise we didn’t do so hot but I kept my portions down so I’m proud of that.
Darling Husband was commenting this morning that my tummy is looking smaller (sweet sweet man!) and he can tell that I’m losing again, so that’s good!
Not sure if I’m going to the gym tonight. We are currently looking for a new rental house and I’m hoping to schedule a couple appointments tonight, which is fine because I’d planned on taking today off anyway.
