I want in!!
I’m not looking to lose weight necessarily but I seriously need to tone up my marshmallow physic! I’m an asthmatic and I need to improve my cardio badly too. Stair cases are my arch nemesis..
So, for refrence it takes me about 11-12 minutes to run a mile and I’m 125 and only 20 years old…gulp! I should be able to do it @ 7minutes so this is where it begins! I know its going to take a lot more than four weeks to shave 4-5 minutes (like 6months+) but I’m hoping to gain a minute!

Ok – last night was night number 2 of jogging for 25 minutes straight…again I didn’t die so I count this a success! My goal is to get up to 30 minutes of jogging (with 5 minute walking warm up and cool down) for my cardio workout! I have to say I just LOVE the Couch to 5K – it really works if you follow it – January 1 I was doing intervals, like 1 min jogging, 1.5 minutes walking – now I am jogging for 25 minutes straight! 🙂
Tonight I start back up with Jillian – god help me! I’m alternating the 30 Day Shred 2 days a week, Ripped in 30 1 day a week and 6 weeks to 6 pack once a week. I’m also planning to do 3 serious cardio workouts (30 mins jogging). The days I do Jillian during thw week I plan to jog a mile beforehand. So here is my routine for the next two weeks:
M – cardio, Tu – JM30DS, W – cardio, Th – JM30DS, F – rest, Sa – Abs + Cardio, Su – Ripped in 30.
After two weeks of that I am stepping it up:
M – rest, Tu – 1 mile + JM30DS, W – Cardio, Th – 1 mile + JM30DS, F – rest, Sa – Abs + Cardio, Su – Ripped + Cardio
I’m going to Florida in late March, would love to see some awesome definition by then! 🙂

This is such a great idea, is it too late to join in the fun?
Starting weight = 153lbs (BMI 22) — goal weight = 148 lbs. (BMI 21.5)
Goal: to continue to exercise (jogging for 40 minutes) 5 days a week and to loose at least 1 lb per week. Also to incorporate some weight training into my exercise which is all cardio at the moment.

Can you hear that? It’s my stomach growling and it won’t stop today. I’ve eatten what I typically eat everyday but for some reason my stomach won’t stop saying “feed meeeeee”.

For the Bees that aren’t looking to lose weight but tone up, I think a good gauge for you would be to track your measurements!
I usually have this feeling on Mondays, for whatever reason.
Eating leftover spaghetti, but I brought too much and after the bagel I had this morning I don’t need the carbs so I split it up and will have the other half tomorrow.

I have those days when I stare at the clock waiting for when I can eat again! Have you gotten enough protein today? Lack of protein fuels my hunger.

I LOVE special K protien bars, they are amazing! Me, Matt & Seth eat the crap out of them (Matt is the fiance, Seth is the 3 year old dictator who rules our house) and we have to limit ourselves! I even use one a week as lunch (they’re meal replacements) and I LOOOOVE the chocolate peanut butter.
I have discovered high fiber (10 grams!) cinnamon swirl oatmeal. 160 calories for a yummy high fiber breakfast? Sign me up!
I usually take Sunday/Monday off exercising, and this week was no exception, but I’m currently on my way to my 3rd workout of the week. So far I have 2 cardio and 1 weightlifting down!
I don’t think I’ve done so hot weight wise this week, as in when I weigh in the morning I am not expecting to be overwhelmed. I started my period yesterday and I’m a little puffy :-/ I also ate a few chocolates that I shouldn’t have on Valentine’s Day, but I refuse to beat myself up about it!

Totally love those protein bars! I just ordered some for next week! I need to up my protein so I also ordered the Speical K water mix that has protein in it. I think it’s 5 grams of protein for 30 calories – I figured it’s not a ton of protein or calories but it might be the little extra push some days! Have you tried the water mix? I’m curious if it is a delicious as the chocolate peanut butter protein bars 🙂

I haven’t tried the Special K bars, I have had the Slim Fast kind and I would just end up eating them as like candy because they were so chocolate <—- defeats the whole purpose!
I just got back from a good workout, I don’t feel like I went as hard as I could. I only did two circuits and a little bit of time on the treadmill. Trying to decide what to have for dinner. I bought some quinoa and haven’t tried it yet, maybe that with some chicken!

Have you thought about protein shakes? You can make some really yummy ones at home (most of the prepackaged ones taste horrible!). I make shakes that are about 350 calories and 50+ grams of protein!

Yes the water is just as good! I liked the pink lemonade one 🙂
I have to limit myself to one a day, because I could eat them like candy bars too! Which is so funny, because I probably buy a real candy bar every year and a half (I just don’t crave them!).
Got my workout on! We will see what happens in the AM and I can’t wait to see everyone’s results!

Since the last time I was on I signed up at my fitness pal and that website is the bomb! Highly reccomend it. It calculates your calorie, fat, sugar and protien intake and exercise. And you get workout buddies! Be my pal: cellokitty91
