@itsashleyday: K got you down. Weigh ins are Sunday night into Monday afternoon, and we all check in the support thread during the week.

@kaylee26: Yes seconded!!!
I love this thread I just looked back and I have been losing weight slowly but surely since I started. I’m so happy, its really nice to have some support while trying to do something as difficult as sticking to a weight loss routine!!

I was running around with my dog yelling about how I am a big loser, and Future Sister-In-Law walked in and recorded me. I swear if she puts it on youtube I am gonna come after her. I haven’t had any appetite today, so I’ve been forcing myself to eat. Does this ever happen to you guys? I usually and ALWAYS hungry, but today I haven’t wanted food at all. I have a huge surge of energy today too. Its weird.
Anyway, congrats to all us losers!

@lb1369: Too funny. I guess you’ll have to work up an appetite to kick her butt lol. Jk.
I have had appetite problems lately too. I need to get back on the good food track so that I can eat. Everything starting tasting different once I started eating better.
I say try smoothies or something with peanut butter or whatever other protein you like just to keep you strong.

Today. I ran 1.5 miles without stopping! Something I would never have been able to do a few weeks ago! I was so excited that I called my SO while I was doing the cool down. I wasn’t even panting!
It was awesome!!!
@lb1369: My appetite problems are almost always hormonal. Like, I’m super hungry on my period and want to non-stop eat, and then start forgetting to eat around my ovulation. It’s weird…
ETA: My avatar is an adorable little bat!! For october!

Cornmuffin: Your appetite changes sound normal. Ah, there is hardly any time, except when I’m really sick, that I don’t feel like eating.
Congrats on the run!

@lb1369: lol! Great job!
Last night was another fail but I will just do better today! Trying to keep motivated and I’m already telling myself ‘you will workout tonight, you will workout tonight’. So that by the end of the day I’m like ‘yay workout woohoo! I’m not exhausted at ALL!’

@Mrs.Mittens: Lol I have to keep trying to tell myself that too. I’m trying to push myself to the finish line here I just don’t want to do too much and then gain it all back because I can’t keep up the momentum. I think I’m going to try to go to the gym 3-4 times this week and ramp it up.
@Cornmuffin09: That avatar is adorable!!

I’m working out with a trainer 3x a week, and trying to get myself to the gym the other days. Ideally I’d like to do cardio 5x a week, but I’m terrified of burning out and not sticking with it.

I can’t help myself. I’ve been feeling like crap all day. I ended up sleeping from about 1:30am last night to about 3pm. I had to skip class because I just felt like such crap. But all I could think about after I woke up, and got my system feeling a bit better, was “I need to run. I want to run!”
I ended up going to my later evening class, got let out early, and told the SO to come running with me at the gym. I didn’t go as far as I wanted to, but, it was something.
The biggest problem is my stomach is looking at me like, “No… you don’t want food…” And my consciousness is like, “Yes. You need it.”

@Cornmuffin09: Did you try the water trick? Drink something when you think your hungry and wait 10 mins? That always works for me. If I’m still hungry I have a handful of nuts of something. If I’m still hungry 10-20 mins after that I eat an actual meal.
Sometimes too if you let yourself have that thing you often times get over it. Like I was obssed with having a Belgian waffle and finally Fiance and I went to go get one. Now its over and I feel better lol. And can move back to eating healthy again.
Breaking food into small meals and snacks can keep hunger at bay. At least that works for me.
I was going to go to the gym but there are like 70mph winds and the power went out for a little bit so I think I’m going to stay in…
