The BEEgest Loser is back for another 4 week round! This is the 13th thread!
Want to join in? It’s easy! Just reply to this post with your starting weight and a little info about you… what your goals are for the next four weeks, the areas you feel you need to work on, etc. Or you can send me a PM if you’d like to keep your weight private.
Drop by a few times a week to let everyone know how you are doing and to provide support to the other Bees participating. The more activity on the thread the better, and I’m always around if you need anything! I’m planning out the workout challenges and I’m pulling a few recipes for everyone’s enjoyment.
Weigh-ins: The weigh in thread will be posted to the fitness board on Thursday evenings (this is mostly to accomodate any east coast bees, since I’m on the west coast) and you will have until 3:30pm on Friday to get me your current weight.

Me me me! My starting weight is 211lbs (yikes!)
I’d like to get to under 200lbs in the next 4 weeks – ideally 196lbs!
I need to work on exercising more & not snacking!

Starting weight: 165 (I think i’m bloated cause there’s no way I gained 3 lbs in a week)
Goal weight: 145 (not sure of a timeline)
I have started my 5 week transformation challenge….started back up with running, some strength and healthy eating…..all whole foods, no processed….no bad carbs…

Starting Weight: 140.5
Goal Weight: 120 Goals: 1) Excercise! I hate you, but I need you. (Even though I HATE you!) I’m going to alternate between yoga and FGF sessions each day. 2) Ignoring the cravings for yummies. I can have treats, but no going nuts. 3) DRINK MORE WATER! 4) Follow your diet!

Starting Weight: 171
Goal Weight: 150 (eventual). During the 4 week challenge, I’d like to lose 6 pounds and get to 165.
What I’m doing: 1) Exercise; 2) No more pizza when I go out with friends; 3) No more chocolate chips & bad carbs in my house.

Alright, apparently I have proved to myself that I need support and accountability from others. And my WW meetings aren’t enough right now.
Starting weight: 166 🙁 (that’s up from 162.5 at the end of the last thread….)
Ultimate goal weight = 135
Goal for this round = Lose 5 pounds
So, I started working out again last week and got 3 work outs in. My goal is to get 4 in this week. And as always, eat healthier meals and smaller portions. Get in 5 servings of fruits & vegetables a day + 8 servings of water.

Im in…..again. I’ve lost some since the last thread, but want to amp it up a little to see progress quicker.
Starting Weight: 209.8
I’m starting Insanity on 8/1/12. I’m excitetd and scared at the same time, but hoping to see results. I know participating in this will hold me accountable and keep me motivated. I also want to continue to eat healthier and drink lots of water!
My goal by the end of this round is to be down to at least 200…199 would be AWESOME 🙂

😀 I am so excited to start this up again! It really keeps my motivated to continue on with my weight loss! My starting weight for this round is 156.6 which isn’t a huge loss since my last weigh in on here, but then again, it is still a loss. Which I am thankful for because it seems as though I am stuck at this weight, but definitely determined to conquer it lol my goal for these next 4 weeks is to get down to 150.0

I’m going to join too : ) starting weight…gulp…226lb. In 4 weeks I would like to lose 6 lb. I am aiming for going to the gym 3 times a week and to cut out snacks, here goes…

I’m just starting.
Starting weight 250lb.
I suffered from severe depression prior to my wedding and was even hospitalized for it for a few days. I eat away my problems and gained 40lbs in two weeks before my wedding. Had to get the dress altered and everything. It was aweful. Now that I’m married, I’m not happy with my weight and am going to start going to a gym and am getting all new, healthier foods in the house. This includes nothing fried, granola for a once in a while snack, etc.
If anyone has any tips for diets and exercise I’m totally open to anything and everything that may help.
My goal is to lose 5lbs in the next 2 weeks and to change my diet to healthy eating. I hope to lose 10lbs in the next 4 weeks.

The “diet” (healthy nutritional choices) I am on is high protein, high good fat…basically eating real food…focusing on protein, avocado, olive oil, beans, lentils, eggs, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and fruits and vegetables…
I have cut out bad carbs….no bread, wheat, rice, etc…..
Be careful with granola, it surprisingly is full of a lot of sugar and unnecessary carbs….try hummus, veggies, popcorn, fruit for snacks…

Count me in.
135.3lbs. I am only 5’2”. After this round I would like to be at 130.
My starting weight was 145 back in May. I lost 10lbs in about 6 weeks and I am ready to amp it up again. I just filled my fridge with fresh fruits and veggies and lots of chicken!
The hardest part will be finding time to exercise. I am in a surgical rotation and can work anywhere between 40-70 hours. Blah.

I gained weight post-wedding and really want to get it off. I’m in a friends wedding in November and the dress is NOT flattering on me, so I’d like to work on that!
I’m focused on getting to the gym at least 5 times a week and eating around 1200 calories a day with MyFitnessPal.

Ultimate goal: 135
Goal this month: lose 4 lbs. I’m going on a family vacation, going to a wedding, and celebrating my birthday this month, so I’m trying to be realistic about what I can do. I plan to snack on fruits and veggies and work out on the treadmill at least four times a week.

I’ve never joined in before– but sounds like fun! (Okay not FUN precisely… but helpful, maybe? lol).
I’m not comfortable posting my starting weight right now, but I will say I’m a size 18/20 and have gained over 20 lbs since my wedding. Ugh.
Goal: I absolutely HAVE to lose 60 pounds. I think that is necessary for my general health/well-being. Ultimately I would love to lose 90 (gulp), but I’m focused on the 60 first.
Goal for 4 weeks: I’d like to lose 8 lbs. 2 lbs/week seems do-able and healthy/sustainable to me.
Plan: Start working out again! I need to do 3 days/week at least 30-45 min. I’d also like to cut back on the eating out.
