You know i posted my weight on one of these threads a long time ago, thinking yeah what a great idea and then never followed up. But now I am more serious about my weight and this will keep me more accountable.
A little about me: always have been over weight and never really watched what I ate. I was pretty lazy. But then I met my FH and I could see our future and our life and I wanted to be around for it and that meant caring for me. I started to really think about my health at the beginning of this and just casually worked out here or there. Started to cut out soda and stuff but then engagement came and I kind of slacked off. But a doctor’s visit really opened my eyes and since then, my health is my priority.
My beginning weight at the start of my journey: 263
Today I weight: 243.7
Ultimate goal: 170 to 180 I think, we’ll see what I think when I get closer to that.
My goal for this challenge? let’s say 235.
My plan: to keep working out 6 days a week, watch what i eat, no soda, and sweets only allowed once a day at a very small portion.
Need to work on better food choices I work out a lot now compared to what I used to so I need to figure out how much to eat to keep me energized without eating too much.
I know we all can do this!!!

i would join but i only do kilos not pounds as I am in Australia 🙂 but today i jumped on the scales and i would like to report i have lost 2 kilos since i started running again. I do 4-5km runs a few times a week and also do the same distance walking a couple times too. Some days if i am exhausted i do a shorter 2-2.5km run. I eat healthy (no diet) and I still treat myself. My goal is to feel comfortable, tone up and get fit so for once in my life I am not overly concerned about the number on the scales. I don’t want to be skinny I want curves. 🙂 good luck all you brides out there!

- Wedding: February 2017 - Seattle, WA
I’m in!! My starting weight is 135 (i *think*…i will weigh myself in the morning and update if needed!). I was down to 126 last month but have totally fallen off the wagon and eat whatever is in front of me!! With my frame, my goal weight is about 120lbs although i would be happy with 125. I have a very narrow frame so any extra weight shows a LOT, in my opinion. I have friends who weigh more than me but have a much better “shape”, so I’m thinking it must be the way I carry it. Also, my goal is to actually TONE up this time!! I don’t belong to a gym but love walking and doing workouts at home.
Good luck everyone!

I’m not trying to losing, but I am trying not to gain. That’s my goal.

Starting weight: 184.6
Ultimate goal: 144
Goal this round is to lose 4 to 8lbs
I have cut back on coffee, drinking tons of lemon water. Added Chia seeds and cayenne(sometimes, they cause some heartburn if I take it in the am). Been adding things to my workout slowly. Hopefully that will help me stick to it. I really want to start walking but being in the heat is giving me migraines so I will need to wait til it cools off a bit.

Morning report = I suck. Drank half a bottle of wine with a friend last night, sigh. I dn’t drink very often (less than once/month generally) but when we have people over who like wine I find it very hard not to over-indulge. It almost seems like I”m being “not any fun” if I just have one glass and then drink water the rest of the night.

Alright, I’m in. I got down from 167 to 151 without too much trouble, but have been stuck at 151 for months! My goal for these 4 weeks is 146. Ultimate goal – 130. I’m going to keep running my ass off (though it seems my ass is kind of refusing to be run off) and cut back on the booze.

I suck too! Lol I went out to eat with friends last night and had a bit too much to drink along with a very not so healthy dinner. Note to self; your self control for what you put in your body is gone
when tipsy. So moral of the story is no more alchohol for me for awhile!

Ah, no worries! It’s not like you do it every night right?
I had an okay day yesterday. My birthday was last week but I was on vaca so all my co-workers brought food yesterday. I didn’t actually eat lunch because I was just snacking all day! Not great, but there weren’t many sweets, so that was good!
I did have bubble tea with a girlfriend last night and that was just pure sugar, I had the worst sugar crash!
Feeling good about today… think I might workout tonight or at least take a bike ride!

Ooh! I’d like to play! I’ve seen these threads before but never had the courage to actually join.
Starting weight: 147
Goal weight: 135
What I’m doing: I’m trying to be good and dedicate myself to exercising. I have an office job so the majority of my time is spent sitting in a chair, staring at a computer. For the past few months I’ve been doing cross training classes at my gym. I’ve also signed up for a few upcoming mud runs to keep my motivation up.
I must admit, I haven’t been very good about my diet recently. I went on vacation a few weeks ago and fell off the wagon and never really got back on. So, this week I’m going to do my best to behave myself – no more snacks, and a focus on eating lots and lots of veggies.

Yesterday I walked 2 miles in 98 degree heat!!! Luckily for my second day of walking it is going to be only 93 degrees:) Had my yogurt this morning and salad for lunch…..feeling pretty good today!!

Insanity is a REALLY great program. If you follow it to a T and eat healthy you will definitely lose weight and more important inches! Make sure you measure yourself! I lost 17 lbs and 15 inches in 6 weeks. The first week is incredibly hard, some moves you can’t do very many but don’t give up! It is crazy how quickly your body adapts. Can’t say enough good things. If you can, try and get a friend to do it with you. You can motivate eachother as this is a really hard program.
