Want to join in? It’s easy! Just reply to this post with your starting weight and a little info about yourself. Please state what your goals are for the next four weeks, the areas you feel you need to work on, and any other pertinent info that you would like to share. Drop by a few times a week to let everyone know how you are doing and to provide support to the other Bees participating. The more activity on the thread the better.
Weigh-ins: The weigh in thread will be posted to the fitness board on Sunday evenings and you will have until 9:30pm on Monday to get me your current weight. This will be in Japan time. For reference, Monday 9.30pm Japan time is 8.30am Monday in New York.

And I might as well kick it off with myself.
Current weight – 73.5kg
I am really excited for another round. I’m hoping to continue losing slowly and steadily. I am getting over a knee injury (inflamed tendons) that has plagued me for a few weeks, so can’t run at the moment. I have been doing gentle walking, a horrible upper body exercise designed for people with lower body injuries we found on you tube, “swimming” (whilst sitting on a kickboard so I don’t need to move my knees) and Jillian Michaels Yoga meltdown, modifying some moves slightly so my knees have less pressure on them.
I plan to keep going with myfitnesspal (feel free to add – same username) and keep experimenting with exercise that don’t hurt my knee (suggestions welcome).

I’d like to join! Current weight is 255.8. I’ve already lost 15 lbs this year, but I have a long way to go. My goal this month is to continue using MFP and to walk at least 3 days a week. Good luck everyone!

I’ve been waiting for this thread!!!
right now I’m 176- 4 pounds down from two weeks ago! My goal is 50 pounds total, but it’ll take time. My goals are to workout 4 times a week instead of my usual 3. I’ve mainly been doing cardio but I’m going to get to Walmart and get some dumbells soon. I’ve been using myfitnesspal and staying at 1100 cals for each day. Except weekends, but I just keep my portions small and eat when I’m hungry. I used to weigh 110 in high school and ran cross country ( ahh the days I lookEd like a million bucks!) and now I’m sick of looking like I’m just another obese “typical American”. I’m not going to be another statistic! Oh- I’m 5’2″ btw so all this weight on me looks awful!!

I’d like to join too! My current weight is 80kg (176 pounds) and i’d like to lose at least 10 kgs by September. I know i can do it but i’m just lacking motivation at the moment, so hopefully keeping accountable on here will help!

I’ll join! I’m at 155 right now, would like to be between 135 and 140 by August. This month, I’ll be running my first 5K so running will be a big part of my exercise! I just joined MFP and just started really paying attention to calories and portion sizes. Good luck everyone!

Hey ladies, This week’s weigh in is up. In theiry it closes at 8.30am New York time (8.30 pm Japan time), but I might leave ti open a little longer, because timezones can be a tad confusing!
