Does he like sports? I took my Fiance to a football game and got us really good seats and this year I am thinking white water rafting. Just think about a previoust convos, did he ever mention something that he really wanted to do but never had a chance?

My SO is a homebody but we went out to all-you-can-eat sushi dinner with 15 of our closest friends. He says he doesn’t remember most of the night but I know it was the best birthday party!

My boyfriend’s bday is in two weeks so this is the plan:
I am going to make him breakfast in bed before he goes to work at 7am and give him gift certificates for a 30 min foot massage and an hour long back massage for after he gets off work at a place near our home that I booked. Then we are going to go to a really good pizza place and I am going to give him a Garmin GPS sport watch for when he goes running and we go hiking. Then back home to eat a cake I plan on baking and decorating!

For my FI’s last birthday I got him a PS3 along with the NHL2013 and Arkham Asylum games. He loved it. For months I had been talking him out of getting it for himself because it was a waste of money, and he didn’t need it (All just trying to throw him off the scent because I had it planned for months). I’ve never seen him so excited as when he opened it and realized what it was. It was awesome.

When we were still in college, a particular band we both love (but had never seen in person) came to perform… on his birthday. I invited him to stay with me and celebrate for the weekend, and surprised him with tickets. I also dressed up in a pretty hot outfit he’d never seen before ;D

A few birthdays ago I threw a surprise bday for him — we went out during the day and came home to a bunch of his friends in the yard with a live band and booze! Also great because it was at home so he could drink as much as he wanted.

For DH’s 25th birthday I surprised him by sending him and 5 of his friends to Atlantic city in a limo. The best surprise of the whole thing was that his friend from the Marines was home on leave and was hiding in the limo. When it pulled up to the house he was so surprised bc he thought we were going somewhere .. then his friends started jumping out and he was so excited and when Doug got out he was so surprised he almost tackled him! They had an amazing time at the casino and the pics they took are hilarious!
I was the best Girlfriend ever that year!

For my DH’s 30th birthday, I invited all his friends and some family and threw a huge house party. I cooked a ton of his favorite foods, everyone brought something, we had a ton of his favorite beers, and we hung out, celebrated and watched the Pens game on our big screen tv. He’s really lactose intolerant, but I found a delicious dairy free cake recipe, so I made him a big birthday cake. I was also broke, since I was a student at the time with no job, so I felt bad that I couldn’t afford to buy him an actual present, but he absolutely loved his party.

We planned out a 30th birthday for a friend of ours. We bought great tickets to see one of his favorite sports teams. Then we got up early that day and made him a kickass breakfast buffet. We all went to the game and then we picked up his favorite BBQ on the way home. We closed out the evening with a trip to his favorite pub for some drinks and jukebox music.
