Who has the best freaking bed ever? Looking for a new king size mattress and no idea where to start, so tell me about your bed that is the best one you’ve ever had! What is the brand and/or store and what is the price range? Thanks!!

We have a king size Tempurpedic. It’s just the basic model. I love love love it. It took about a week to get used to how much firmer it is than what I’ve slept on in the past, but my back and shoulders have never been happier. We paid a little over 2k for it I believe. It might have been closer to 2500. Don’t remember the exact cost. They can get super pricy really quick if you go for different models.

Just gonna say that getting a bed with a euro pillow top is worth it. I have some cheapy bed and it’s better than the hella expensiave one I had before just because of that. I won’t get a cheap one next time, though, and it’s not the best ever, so I won’t name names lol.

How much are you looking to spend?

I have a Serta Gel Foam iComfort mattress and it is seriously BOOOOMB. I think it was around $1600-1800 (queen size) when we bought it a few years ago, but as someone with isnomnia and migraines, it was worth EVERY penny.

We have a serta iComfort applause 2 in plush, King sized. It feels firmer than the one in the store, probably because that one was laid on so much. We got a thin pillow top topper then to add some cushion and help protect the mattress, but we really like it! It was affordable too, we got it for… I think $1600-1700.

I have the best freaking bed ever! It’s a Kingsdown mattress that I got from Sleepy’s. They no longer carry the line.

Heavenly!! Fiance and I stayed at a Westin earlier this year and fell in love. We still talk about it and as soon as we get back home from our current vacation we’ll order one since they’re having a $400 off sale right now. I don’t know that I’ve ever been more excited about a purchase 😛

I love our current mattress. It’s a Simmons Beautyrest Recharge. It was like $800 at a discount mattress place for a King size.

We have a king size Tempurpedic Cool Breeze….we were hesitant to spend the money on it because it was super expensive, BUT SOOOOO worth it! Like FutureMrsBex
said, it did take about a week to get used to the firmness, but man do we sleep amazing now!!! It was a little over $3k, but seriously worth every penny!!

We have tuft and needle, but casper and Leesa also get great reviews. And they are all super afforbable, even in king.

We have the Sealy Posturpedic Hybrid. It’s half memory foam (like a Tempurpedic) and the bottom half has springs for more support. The memory foam also has that cooling gel in it, so it helps DH to not sleep so hot. We love it! I have sciatica and problems with muscle spasms in my neck and I never wake up in pain anymore since we go this bed. I think the mattress by itself was about $1700. We didn’t need a box spring with our bed.

Spend the money on a good mattress!!!
We bought ours from a local furniture store (Haynes), and got the best mattress they offered for our master. It’s a pillowtop and soooo comfy. We furnished our guest room with the next model down which we honestly can’t tell a difference in. We love our bed and all of our guests rave about the bed in our guest room.
