Definitely a cure to baby fever!  Keep visiting with that little cutie! You are so lucky to spend time and have your nephew smile at you the whole time! I just love it.  My nephew will be 2 months next week and I haven’t been able to see him much as they live far away.  Enjoy every minute of it!

Just be careful, because one day that won’t be a cure anymore! I work in NICU, and for a long time, getting to cuddle babies at work would cure my baby fever, but now that we are married, have a house, both have good jobs, and are ready for a baby, holding those babies at work just makes me want my own that much more …

I think having a puppy or a kitty is a cure for it for a while too.  That combined with great opportunities to travel.

Sounds perfect Mandb!  Kinda like having a baby “basinette-list” (before the baby sort of reverse bucket list..lol!)  Things to do and places to visit before the stork makes the delivery!

That’s great too.  You’re getting in babytime with that precious little one.  I admit it.  I miss the smell of a baby.  So so cuddly.

I look at pics of my 12 yo son when he was a baby and go awwwww.  I miss the time when I’d sing to him at night in the glider rocker.  He’d nestle into the area under my chin and his little head on my shoulder.  Oh those times.

They have that power.  Sure do.  My son could gaze at me and I’d stop whatever the heck I was doin’ and pick him up.  Yep.  He had me wrapped around those tiny pink fingers.

My husband read this thread last night and laughed.  He has been trying to use this method to avoid my baby fever for years. He has 7 nieces and nephews that we often watch and he always calls it the best birth control.  However, after watching them for 3+ years he knows its starting to not work any more and being around them just makes me want a baby even more!
