I’m with you! I’m such a perfectionist and every has deemed me as the easy going bride because I don’t ask for help since I want to do everything myself so I have full control.

But here is one other piece of advice. Ask for help. Trust in others and let them take some of the burden off your plate so you can ensure that you are enjoying your engagement as well.

i think that is great advice! i recently realized that i’ve spent soooo much time “researching” and so little time deciding/doing. time to stop it and just make some damn decisions. lol

Yes, great advice!

I actually said recently to someone (probably my mother) that I think the reason I’ve found wedding planning to not be very stressful is that I am quite decisive and haven’t revisited any of the decisions I’ve made.

Something that occurred to me very early in the planning process that I’ve thought about continuously since: no one will know what you DIDN’T choose, so no one’s going to say, “Oh wow, she really should have gone with those other escort cards!” So long as you choose something that you like, and that fits in with the overall aesthetic of your event, you should be good to go!
