If you missed the first part- Prep & Ceremony
I loved how the details turned out! We used dried lavender for the ceremony in paper prisms (using metallic linen print paper that matches the programs and favor tags) and purple hydrangea for the ceremony. The cakes were delicious and looked great!
Darling Husband had these earrings made fo rme as a wedding gift, the sapphires are a set with the pair in my ring and the pearls are smaller versions of those in my necklace. They are also screwbacks since my ears healed up when I was abroad.
I already had my ceremony shoes on but they got a picture of my well loved dance shoes
We got the GMs personalized cufflinks. They loved them. THe upper right is a thumb drive. He has bootable Ubuntu on them
My mom’s note to us (she wanted it to be our tags for everyone)
We had a picture and biography of a dancer of muscian. This is of Frankie Manning, whome Darling Husband and I met in one of his last public appearance before he passed away in 2009.
And Norma Miller, who is awesome (we met her two years ago at the same the workshop)
Instead of Cocktails we had Dublin Dr. Pepper between the ceremony and reception. Dr Pepper is the offical drink of our university and we have Dr Pepper on campus each week.

LOVE the dancing shoes and DP! =)

My Fiance would murder someone for that much Dublin DP. His Bridesmaid or Best Man goes to Baylor and everytime he visits, must buy copious amounts of the stuff. It is so fun you had it at your wedding! The lavander is beautiful!

@chasesgirl: We tried to get some “genuine” Dublin at HEB but we exhausted their stock and went to the museum and ended up getting a couple cases of “Imperial Sugar” there. The girl in the gift shop gave us a funny look. We rarely have it in the apartment so it was a nice treat.
(we had like 150 bottles and all were gone before the reception was half way through)
