WLC bees, I’ve already got your information from mattsgirl813. You all have done great so far and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you!
First weigh-in is this coming Friday and this thread will last for 5 weeks!

Hi Bees. i am from the WLC group. I got engaged in late March and started dieting a couple of weeks later (had a lot of celebratory dinners to get in. Since starting my diet, I’ve lost about 15 pounds. My stats:
Start of WLC Competition – 177ish (cant remember exact)
Goal for wedding 145
Goal for life 125
Wedding date – 9/10/11

Ok, I’ll be a big girl here (literally and figuratively) and say I’m in and at 286. That’s not a typo, nor was someone else on the scale at the same time as me. I’m 2 years away from my wedding and ready to make some changes 🙂
I’m a 30 year old high school teacher from Canada, engaged to my best friend and fur mommy to four cats (yes, add crazy cat lady to my title 🙂

I am from the WLC boards. I started the first week at 205 (if I remember correctly) starting weight for this board is 199. My goal for the wedding is 185 (or whatever weights gets my dress to zip all the way up). My ultimate goal is 165. Looking forward to the challenge!

Hello everyone, I also was an original WLC lady. I started my weight loss journey I think around 4 years ago and weighed over 300 pounds. I don’t know my weight for sure because I didn’t own a scale (which made it easier to lie to myself). I was always buying new clothes so I really didn’t notice how much weight I was gaining. I remember getting ready to go out to a nice dinner and deciding what to wear, but when I went to put the outfit on it was uncomfortably tight and I had no clue I had gained weight. I know I was wearing a size 24 and it was tight. When my brother got engaged the ladies in my family all agreed to lose weight and I was the only one to stick to it.
Fast forward to today and I am wearing a size 8!!! I lost the weight with diet and exercise (and a little phentermine), I completely changed my lifestyle. On my wedding day I weighed 156 and on my honeymoon gained 15 – 20 pounds in a month!!! So I am now again fighting off this weight and would really like to get back to my wedding day weight. When I started with the WLC ladies I was 174 and am now hovering around 166.
I am looking forward to the support, recipes, etc here with everyone. I can contribute with my low calorie list, you can click on my name and see the thread I started with the list. Good luck everyone!!!

hi ladies!!! okay… so i also gained the honeymoon weight! 8 lbs 🙁 on my wedding day i weighed 199 (i have lost 52 lbs) …. and now i weigh… 206 🙁 so my ultimate goal is 140 ish? im really not even sure! i just want to be healthy and happy 🙂 so yep. here i am 🙂 lets do this!

My starting weight is 136.5, and my goal is 120. I’ve lost 20 pounds over the past year or so, but I’d still like to lose more.
I bought my wedding dress recently, and I told them I wanted to lose about 15 pounds. Although I think it would still fit if I didn’t, I’ve been wanting to get back down to 120, so that’s the plan. I’ve been doing p90x, but I recently bought Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. We’ll see how that goes.
I really don’t eat a ton of calories each day, but I do have a hard time making myself exercise often. I’m trying to keep a schedule, but it is hard sometimes. I hope I lose weight these next 5 weeks! I’ve been stuck between 136.5-139 lately.

Hello ladies, I am also from the WLC thread. My starting weight there was 196 lbs, my current weight is 192.6. I have been a weight watchers member for a year, as of this week, and have lost 49 lbs since joining. I am hoping to lose 15-20 lbs before my wedding in August and maybe a bit of competition is just the boost I need. Good luck to everyone!

I’m a TBL girl.
TBL start: 148.5?
Short-term goal: 140 (reached it with TBL!)
Long-term goal: 130. . . and beyond?
I started my weight-loss journey several years ago at 190. I made some drastic changes and got down to 136 over the course of a year. Then I had to do my Master’s thesis and had some rough emotional times (big break up) and got back up to 160. Last March (2010) I decided to get back down to a healthy weight, and to help motivate me I joined a walking program at work (Virgin HealthMiles, anyone?). I got down to 142, but then winter and laziness struck and I was back up to 153 in no time. Now I’m fighting to get down to 130. We shall see!

Hi Everyone! I am a TBL lady. When i started to lose weight I was 218 I am now down to 198. I have been stuck at 198 for a few weeks now due to complete laziness on my part and skipping the gym. I am back on track and today will be my first day back. I look forward to seeing everyones progress 🙂
