@jody0912: Your fiance sounds like my husband, he has been with me from 300+ pounds til now and loves me the same.  But he is 6 ft tall and weighs between 5 and 10 pounds more than me, never has had an issue with weight, and TOTALLY doesn’t understand my struggle.  I love weighing less than him now!!!

@CindyRelly: I would call it a healthy motivating competition, we don’t win anything, MattsGirl813 started the WLC board that I started with and she would put everyone in order on Fridays according to how much weight they lost/gained that week (we all weighed in on Fridays and sent her our info).  But the ladies started dropping like flies and MattsGirl813 and Mittens111211 merged our two groups.

Yesterday was a very bad eating day.  In an effort to restart myself, today I’ve had: apple for breakfast, salad & chicken/vege soup for lunch, and am planning on a vege shake & rest of my salad for dinner. However this afternoon, I did a training session and then  1 1/2 hours of cardio.  I burned 1000 calories! I feel great and super motivated.  Hopefully today’s effort will help cancel out yesterday’s failure.

I actually love the idea of it being a competition;)  Sounds fun and like another motivation!  Though I think an upcoming wedding will be motivation enough for me…

@stpattysgirl82 please let me know what you think of metformin. I opted against it b/c of side effects as well as my endo giving me the option of faster wt loss through the protein modified sparing fast….. which works great but doesn’t last:(

@Keltaena: Hey I posted pictures of the outfits I picked for engagement pictures! I’ll post the professional pics when they are finished too!

On another note – It feels good to post full-body pics after losing 17 lbs (total, since January I believe)! Talk about motivation!! Today my class went to Chick Fil-A for lunch (my favorite!) and I actually got a grilled sandwich and side salad and water for the first time ever! Usually I only make single substitutions (if I got grilled, I still had fries, etc) so that was a big step for me!

This week I have been pretty lamenwith eating properly. I’ve still been exercising so hopefully that counts for something. I’m going to Bikram Yoga right now so hopefully I can sweat some of this junk out. I did so well last week, I really don’t want to gain this week! If I break even I’ll be happy. Alright, time to go sweat to death. Weighing in in the morning!

So I just weighed in at the gym and I am up 2 lbs. I think this is because DH and I had a lot of time off this past week and neither one of us stayed on our routine…not to mention DH brought home McDonalds one night! DH gained about 5 lbs, so I don’t feel as bad haha! I think I’ve hit a wall though, so it’s time to get back on track and see some results like I did a few weeks ago! Good luck everyone 🙂

 

Last week: 148 lbs

This week: 150 lbs 

Gained 2 lbs
