I’m going to try to make sure I remember to post in this thread this round.  I’ve been trying to lose weight for a couple months and have lost 11 lbs up to this point.  So my starting weight for this is 138 now.  Goal weight for life is 118, but my goal for the wedding is 125. Since I’ve been steadily losing 1lb a week, that’s probably the best I can do by September.

Hi, I’m new!

Starting weight 146. I’ve been losing and regaining the same 5 pounds over and over for the last few years and I need some extra motivation to break through the cycle!

Oh I’ll join. 238 want to lose 50 pounds by November!! However, just losing some would be great even if I don’t reach the goal. I also have PCOS in addition to major thyroid issues.

so i thought id share my breakfast this morning! its a smoothie! 3 celery sticks, 1 whole kiwi, 1 cup spinach leaves, and 1.4 cup pineapple. ๐Ÿ™‚ its delicious! i do weight watchers so i get in two veggies and a fruit and its zero points too!!!

another one of my faves is 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup pineapple, 1/2 cup soy milk, and ice… its also veryyyyyy good!!!

any other healthy food ideas that are kinda offbeat? i love trying new things ๐Ÿ™‚

I would love to join in again!

A little bit about me. I’m 5’2 and Fiance is 6’4 so I always look “small” compared to him. But since we started dating I’ve gained right around 35 lbs. My current weight is 191.5. At my healthiest I weighed 135, I would LOVE to get back to that weight.

For the wedding though, (which is only 4 months away!!! ahhh!!) I would love to be under 175, which is extremely doable. But I just need to find motivation to get to the gym and quit eating fried food!

Good luck to everyone!

@stephanie63087: That actually sounds really good! What is the consistency of the shake though? Is it pretty thick?

@CruiseWedding2010: yes you will still weigh in on friday mornings just on this thread or the one that Mittins111211 puts up:)

**Im not bailing on you WLC ladies, we just decided that this would work better if there was more ladies, and a better support group. Mittins111211 will be taking care of the numbers, BC i have an busy 2 months ahead of me, and most of my busy days are fridays, so this way i can just weigh-in myself, and not have to worry that the results wont get posted. everything will be done the same way, so the transition should be easy.

@CindyRelly: I’m 5’11 so it’s spread out. lol A lot of people say “no way” I started off over 300, but then I show them my Weight Watchers check in book and they still say “no way”
Because of my body shape, my doctor said I shouldn’t go below 180. I will be happy to get under 200.

@stephanie63087: I’m going to jot this down! Sounds yummy!

I eat a ton of protein in the morning to keep me full all morning. Usually it’s two regular eggs when I feel like having real eggs (most of the time it’s a 1/2 cup of egg beaters) two pieces of turkey sausage and a piece of dry toast with black coffee. I just discovered black coffee! I can’t believe I was messing it up all those years with creamers and sugar! lol I usually eat that after my work out which is usually 2-3 miles with Leslie Sansone. I have the 5 mile Big Burn and at the end of each mile you jog for 2 mins.

For lunch I usually have 6oz grilled chicken breast on a salad or something from Smart Ones. Today I’m treating myself with a personal pizza. Dinner is usually some protein with a card and veggies.

Snacks! I love celery sticks with cream cheese or the laughing cow cheese wedges with grapes.

I think the important thing for me being on Weight Watchers is to track everything! EVERYTHING and hold myself accountable. 1 bottle of Sprite is 7 points. If I want one, then I track it and don’t go over my daily points. I save my weekly points for nights out…but I rarely even use them.
