So I just got back from my appointment and it wasn’t as dire as I was expecting. The assistant on the phone made me feel like I was going in to be scolded but I have to say I really like my doctor. She is not putting me on meds to lower my cholesterol and even said the words “you are not heavy” to me. I totally thought I was going to be scolded and told I needed to lose 100 million pounds or I would die. A little dramatic huh? π I do need to change my diet but it is in the standard way that any one should change there diet. Mostly it is just bringing me back to my pre-wedding way of eating. No more crap food for me… well sometimes I am sure but not as much as we have done since we got married.
Anyhoo… I am off at 3pm today so I am determined to go to the gym. I also need to convince my husband that I should finally sign up for a gym today rather than continue trying out week long trial memberships all over town. It is getting old.
I can’t join this time because I am gaining baby belly! But I just wanted to jump in and say good luck to everyone!! These threads kept me motivated when I was losing, and mittens does an awesome job leading! π Best of luck!!!!!
Can I still join? I know what my weight was last weekend π Although I don’t have a scale at home hopefully I can figure something out!
I weighed in this morning at 284.6, so roughly 4 lbs down! Yipee!!!! I haven’t missed a workout all week and my legs are feeling it. I’m walking like an old lady. lol
I had a good day yesterday, lots of walking and I shredded! Didn’t weigh this morning, I usually have better luck on Saturday mornings, not sure why!
First alerations appointment is tomorrow! squee!
Can I join?
I’m a waiting bee but I’d like to lose weight for the holidays (and hopefully engagement pictures). I bought a gym membership 2 weeks ago and have only gone once. I REALLY need the motivation help.
Starting weight – 155
Goal weight – 135- 140
