Wow, how the heck did you loose 2 inches in a week?? Good for you!!! Haven’t noticed anything yet. But I’m pretty big, so those changes won’t be for a while.  dinners the hardest part for me.  My family likes to cook big, oily, delicious meals.  And bread!!!! But, I’m doing ok. πŸ™‚

Yes!!! Toritillas! Restaurants market wraps like they are healthier than having bread, but they so aren’t! And my fiance makes the best burritos/quessadillas!! For a white boy!:) Sucks… The low carb La Tortilla Factory tortillas are the best of the healthier version.  If that helps.

Can new people jump in on this?  I didn’t see it last week.  It is really helps me to have some place to hold myself accountable.  I have been working on dieting and working out for the last 3 weeks.

You are so lucky it’s sunny out, it’s raining here, and apparently, it’s snowing one hour up north. And to make things worse we don’t have gaz in our place at the moment, meaning no heat and no hot shower. Yikes… So no running for me today. Instead I tried Zumba and it’s so much fun!!!

Hey Bees, so for those of you interested, I found a recipe for healthy(er) deviled eggs. It’s still not 100% healthy, but it will at least allow you to have one or two of them as a snack tomorrow if, like me, deviled eggs are one of your favorite things in the whole world!!!

Here’s the recipe:

6 hard boiled eggs peeled and cut lengthwise

1/4 C nonfat plain Greek yogurt

    2 tsp mustard

    1/4 tsp pepper

    1/8 tsp salt

    paprika to garnish

First you need to hard boil the eggs! Place the eggs in a pot, add just enough cold water so that they are fully covered, and put on high heat.

Cover and bring them to a boil, then turn off the heat and let them sit, still covered, for 12 minutes. Then they are ready! I usually rinse them with some cold water and let them sit for a bit to cool them down first. You can also put them in an ice bath.

Once they’ve cooled, peel them and cut them lengthwise.

Place the whites on a plate and the yolks in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients (except for the paprika) to the yolks in the bowl, and mash it all together.

*alternate, even healthier version: cut yolks in half, add half to bowl, and substitue ~3 garbanzo beans for every half yolk you don’t use.  Add garbanzo beans to bowl and mash with the yolks- you won’t taste the beans, I swear!

Once it is mostly uniform, smoosh the mixture back into the empty egg whites, top with a sprinkle of paprika, and enjoy! Three egg halves equals 127 calories.

Hope this allows you to enjoy a favorite Easter treat… devilled eggs, guilt free!

hey ladies! I have already noticed that I am no longer craving things like cereal or bread (i am doing low carb with fruit). but i still really need some sweets! I have been eating unsweetned applesauce and a few sugar free popsicles to try and get myself through the weekend πŸ™‚ I dont have anything bad here unless I were to bake something so I would really have to go out of my way to eat something bad. πŸ˜‰

Darling Husband and I went on a 5K walk earlier πŸ™‚ We didnt speed walk or anything but jogged a few times trying to get my heart rate up. It was more like a stroll…lol but it still counts right? plus we stopped and sat on a bench just people watching for a while. it was more so that I would not sit around all day thinking about food. πŸ™‚ pathetic i know. lol. I really want to go outside again but not sure what to do…kinda bored of walking…

I take an hour long walk everyday.  I walked 10lbs off before Thanksgiving, obviously put it back on.  But walking totally counts.

Anyone else doing Weight Watchers Online Points Plus? How’s it going if so?

Thanks Ayslinn87 for the recipe! Will def. try it out!
