ladies, need your opinion here!  there are tons of bees that signed up but have been MIA. should I (we, it’s about 20 bees) send them a message encouraging them to keep at it? i know people are busy and all, but maybe a little motivational message? we are all kicking ass, and i would like more people to join us!

Hey guys! I’m not MIA I swear! I haven’t had my computer on me and my iPad wouldn’t let me post 🙁  I am still struggling with my eating, although it is getting better, because of stress with my grandfather’s illness (he seems to be slightly better though) and finals week (finalllyyyy done!!) but have really been doing great with my exercising.  I have been using a lot of Jillian Michael’s workouts this week which really seem to be a great whole body workout.  Between the “Last change workout” on Exercise TV (check it out if you can!), 30 day shred, and burn fat boost metabolism I have been pretty busy.

Unfortunately, I got my period this morning so the scale is lying 🙁 I normally gain about 3 pounds water weight before and up through the 4th or 5th day of my period.  I weighed myself this morning and was 138.5 so exactly the same but it is more likely around 135 or 136.  For the weigh in though, to be fair I will be going with whatever the scale says.  Oh well, at least next week will be a big week for me!

Congrats to all of you guys on kicking some ass 🙂

@mannellal: Good job with the workouts! I don’t even have my period and on Tuesday and Wednesday I was 142 and today I’m 143.4. I am hoping it’ll be back down again tomorrow morning, haha.

@Keltaena: Thanks! I do that too sometimes.  It is normal for my weight to fluctuate a couple pounds within a week.  That is why I rarely never weigh myself everyday.  It is too depressing.  Also, if I eat a dinner later in the evening that has a lot of sodium, the next morning without fail I will be up at least 2 pounds.  I was told that drinking a lot of water and cutting your sodium down will help with that.  Unfortunately, I love salty foods.

@mannellal: I know it’s no good to weigh yourself every day. I got a new scale last week, and I’m obsessed! I’m going to drink water like a maniac today, lol. The food I have for dinner is from the American Heart Association cookbook, so it’s low sodium. Fingers crossed for the weigh-in!

Ahh I’m not doing well. For the last 2 days I’ve been at the Brewers game, and of course when you are there you need to have a beer! Thank goodness it’s only Miller Lite. But still, I haven’t been eating well. So today I am eating my Salad for lunch, with light ranch dressing, and a bowl of fruit for my afternoon snack, then I will work out after work.

It’s my time of the month as well, so I feel sooo fat and bloated. I’ve gained 3 lbs from last friday, 🙁 All I can do is “start over” and get back on track!

Ohh ladies, we had a tasting last night at my venue… and that combined with Easter means this week didn’t go so hot for me.  We shall see!

I’m PMSing too so even if I have been working out and eating fairly well (beside Easter dinner of course), I doubt there will be any miracle this week. Isn’t it so frustrating? I hate feeling all fat and bla. So not gratifying.

Alright everyone, I need motivation to train. I’m walking the Susan G. Komen 3 day in July and I’m SO behind on training! Tell me to get my butt in gear! I think part of my issue is that I’m also super behind my fundraising goal…any ideas on how I can raise more money?

@caity713:  Hold your wedding for donations, you want an invite.. you must donate. Or threaten to elope. JUST KIDDING!   Have you hit up your nearest and dearest friends yet? Posted a sheet at work about it? Facebook’d about it?

What is the 3 day? We just have a 5-10K here in Portland.

@Mrs.Mittens: the 3 day is 60 miles over 3 days! They have them all over the country…I’m doing the one in Boston. My mom and I are doing it together and I’m excited and terrified at the same time! I have been trying to get people on facebook but I’m having a hard time getting donations!
