I just gave into a snack attack (just a smidge). I ate about 6 Rold Gold honey wheat pretzels. I feel like I gained 20 lbs.

@Mrs.Mittens: I live on cereal (the healthiest ones! None of that sugary stuff. . .). I just don’t know what I’ll do without it. Seriously, what do people eat?

@Hirondelle: I am not following a diet. I hate being told what to do! I am going to cut down on carbs (notice the future tense; I’m going to stock up on non-carby things at the store this weekend!) , eat more vegetables, eat less fat and fewer desserts! For me it’s about doing it on my own and being able to do it for the rest of my life.

 

Ugh, sometimes it seems hopeless.

@Mrs.Mittens: My Fiance buys the fat free fudge bars that have 80 calories and proceeds to eat 5 a day.  So yes, I would consider that backwards, haha.

@Natalieh86: I was thinking chip like but they were see through they were so thin and they tasted like seasweed! lol. well…my appetite is back and I dont know what I can eat. I just ate lunch…why am i still hungry? 🙁

I would love to join!!!  

  • My starting weight is 141.  

  • MY goal weight is 120. I am 5’3”. Was also petite growing up but because of health issues with Crohn’s Disease I have gained weight and would like to go back to my normal size so I can feel like myself again.  

  • Favourite exercise: classes! Aquafit. Pilates. I would love to run (I was a competitive runner growing up, but it is too uncomfortable with my stomach issues).

  • Least favourite exercise: Running… because of the above noted point 

  • My weakness: Doritos. And unfortunately fast food (although I do always go for the chicken burger if that is any better… )

My wedding is September 1 2012. I know I have a lot of time but I need to lose the weight slowly and I would also like to be in shape by my engagement photoshoot in August of this year!

Hi!  Can I join as well?  I have been struggling so hard with weight loss the last few months, maybe this group is what I need!

  • what is your starting weight?
  • I am currently 174.8.  I was 184 as of this past Thanksgiving.  I lost about 10 pounds by eating around 1300 calories a day.  I got stuck at that point and haven’t lost anything in 2 months.

     

  • what is your goal weight?

     I would be satisfied with 155.  I would love to be 145.

  • what are your favorite and least favorite forms of exercise?

     I like zumba.  I hate running.

  • what is your major weakness when it comes to food? chocolate, grease?
  • Pizza, chicken wings, blue cheese, beer, Wendy’s, thai food, Mexican food, pasta.

    Thanks so much ladies, it helps to know there are others who are trying as well!

    @sam5858: We’re basically weight twins and goal weight twins.  I’m 173 trying to get down to 155, with 145 being ideal but I’d be excited with 155.  AND, I also love zumba (but don’t have a current gym membership, sadly!) and hate runnign! 

    We can do this!

    YAY day 3 of no soda i did cheat with cool ranch doritos… But i have been excercing for atleast a half hour a day and i already lost 2 pounds im sooo excited!!!
