I had a toss bouquet made. It was similar to the bridesmaids but less expensive;)

My bouquet is silk and I’m keeping it 🙂  The bridesmaids are carrying long stemmed silk calla lillies so those probably wouldn’t toss well.  I just made a crappy silk flower bouquet to toss.  It’s lime green!!

@LaTortuga:   I love the sentimental value it holds. I have a curio cabinet that will hold things like our sand ceremony, guest book & pen so I wanted to display the bouquet as well

We’re not doing a bouquet toss, but if we were, I would toss a throwaway bouquet and keep my own.

I’m tossing mine.  I am having a real flowers, and the wedding is over 7 hours away from where we live, so preserving them would be a pain, and I really don’t know what I would do with them anyway.

@icetea:  Would love to know more about your silk bouquet. I am looking into this option.

Did you arrange it yourself or purchase it already done?

I didn’t throw a bouquet but I’ve heard a lot of women throw smaller versions of their own. The florist I spoke with told me people are usually surprised at how heavy the bridal bouquet ends up being. I’ve heard of them making toss bouquets from the extra flowers left over from the wedding.
