We didn’t.  We had a last minute, spur of the moment, out of the blue quickie JoP wedding.  No time to get each other a gift!

yes, i think this normally  happens but Fiance and I decided to buy ourselves a really nice digital camera instead of surprising each other with something the day of.

My Future Sister-In-Law gave her husband and AMAZING canvas painting of her in her wedding gown during one of her fittings. it was beautiful!

I don’t think we are.  We’re spending enough on the wedding that I’d rather us use our money to save for a better house.  That would be our ultimate wedding gift to each other.

We just bought a house a month and a half ago, bought new furniture and a new huge tv.  Plus, Christmas just took place…we aren’t giving each other gifts..we will give each other a card, though.  🙂

I got him a gift (very nice watch) and a card, and he got me a card and sent over a bouquet of flowers to where I was getting ready.

I’m doing little gifts leading up to the big day but am not expecting anything in return (I’m still shocked at how much he spent on my e-ring and figure that’s more than enough).

I’m giving him funky striped socks and a “in case of cold feet” tag like Bakerella did (thought I saved the photo but I didn’t).  I’m also hoping to do a boudoir photo shoot ahead of time and present a “little black book” to him either before the bachelor party or the night before the wedding.  I’m also surprising him with a groom’s cake (totally won’t be expecting that) and finally, attaching a little ISU sports pendant to my garter (he’s a huge Iowa State fan and it will be football season).

Yep!  I got him a boudoir photo album and he got me a pen with my new initials engraved on it.  🙂

We opted not to do gifts – just because of the cost of this wedding.  Besides, we’re happy we have eachother.  HOWEVER, : evil grin : Little does Fiance know, I did a DIY Boudoir Photo Book for him … so technically, I cheated and am giving a gift.  lol

We haven’t talked about this yet.  My FH is in the same situation of thinking that I am making up that couples give eachother gifts.  I am thinking we will do cards and maybe a small something but nothing too big.

Well, I’m getting him a gift. I don’t know if he’s planning on getting me anything. My gift to him is kind of strange. I’m getting him a dirt bike! Weird, I know. If you want to read about how I came to that decision you can do so here. =)

We didn’t – getting married was expensive enough and the true gift was being married to him.

I told my fiance not to get me anything – he already got me the ring!  But I got him a Breitling watch – it was something he always wanted so I surprised him!

I am giving him the new XBOX360 and the KINECT on the day before our wedding 🙂 Too bad it has to stay behind. I will give it to him so he call play for a few hours and relax before the ceremony.
