Why don’t you ask your BMs if they would feel OK wearing it? You never know…

I agree with the PP, ask your BMs if you are concerned.

I wear a D cup and can typically get away with wearing most strapless things by using a fantastic bra. My Maid/Matron of Honor is a DDD and had to have a halter for her dress at my wedding because she just isn’t comfortable with strapless. Every lady is different.

@Treejewel19: I agree! A really good bra will work wonders.

Get them fitted with a fantastic properly measured bra and then try on this style dress. I think they will be thrilled -the dress is gorgeous btw and very similar to my ones (and yes my BM’s have large chests and didn’t think it would work, but they are now really happy)

I’m going to be honest…That is a cut of dress that will make almost anyone but a stick thin model look pregnant. OP, you can find a similar dress with a lower waist and it would look lovely! If your maids are also a bit bigger busted but open to going strapless, I suggest a sweetheart neckline to avoid the uniboob look.

Good luck!!

ETA: Something like this would be more flattering and it still has many of the elements on the first dress. http://www.dessy.com/dresses/lelarose/lr149/

I agree with eveyrone….it never hurts to ask and you never know your BM’s may fall as in love with the dress as you are 🙂

I am a D cup and I can fit into strapless dresses, you just need a good bra and make sure it is the perfect fit so that they wont feel the need to pull it up ever few minutes.

I think it’s great of you to think about your bridesmaid’s comfort. I’m not huge on top, but I’m not that skinny minny model and I’m pretty sure that dress would look awful on me and that I’d spend the whole night pulling it up.

Definitely ask your bridesmaids! I can definitely tell you that I am a TINY girl on top, but because of my “arm fat” and “broad shoulders” I wouldn’t want to wear that dress. But if my girl friend were getting married and she was my bridesmaid I’d probably just wear it. But I’ve been a bride and I know how frustrating it is! So who knows if your girls would be that way..

I tend to think that good bridesmaids are girls who will wear whatever you tell them, but also give you an honest opinion if you ask what they think.

That being said, while I think this particular dress is lovely, I think that strapless dresses that go straight across on the top like that do nothing to flatter a large chest. Sure, a bustier girl could rock it with a super great strapless bra, or worse case scenario, have a seamstress put on some thin straps, but it kind of gives bustier girls that sports bra uni boob look.

Lela Rose has lots of similar floaty little dresses. It might work out to give your bridesmaids a color, fabric type, and length, and let them pick what they think will flatter their particular body. One or two might pick you dream dress. Others will get to wear what they’re comfortable with, and it will still look uniform. This: http://www.dessy.com/dresses/lelarose/lr145/#.UAgfelLHGSo is totally cute, similar, and would look super great on one of your chestier bridesmaids.. I bet your maid of honor in particular. However, I’m sure she’s an amazing statuesque goddess of an individual that loves you enough to wear whatever you decide on. (oh by the way, Hi! I found yoouuu! I love you! I’ll wear whatever you tell me! <3 )
