We kinda hope our centerpieces get left behind, at least half of them! We’re doing half and half high and low centerpieces … Our low centerpieces are lanterns that we would love to use in our backyard after the fact.
I like taking home centerpieces, but I love knick knacks, or I could even regift (or resell!) something! 😉
I say don’t listen to your parents and do what you want!
We are having a vintage garden theme as well and our centerpieces are not going to be taken home, I think that’s silly. Especially because half of the centerpieces are lanterns and we want to take them home for our own garden! The rest of the centerpieces are tall galvanized pails that will be filled with flowers … I doubt anyone would take that home. Or would they?
It’s your wedding, your paying for everything!
even if I did centre pieces no one would be leaving my wedding with anything I’d purchased for my wwedding! No way!
its your day, make yourselves happy 🙂
Who cares! Someone will probably take them home and if not tell the venue to keep them if you don’t want them. Don’t base your decor on who is going to be willing to take it, it’s your day make the look be how you want it.
