I was 24 and he was 25. We’ve been together for over 3 years. We just didn’t see the point in waiting any longer when we knew we were with the person we wanted to marry. We both finished our degrees, had stable careers, and were financially sound.

@Mrs. Mouse: I was 25, 2 weeks from 26, DH was 28. We had been together for 5 1/2 years and engaged for 2 by the time our wedding came around. DH owed a home, had a stable job, and I had a full time job. We already lived together so it was just time for that piece of paper and a name change. Im glad we waited so long. We met in college and I wasnt ready for a serious relationship when we met but it happened. The timing was perfect for us.

I’ll be 26, Fiance will be 33. It is ideal for us because we have both had enough time to figure out who and what is right for us….and we didn’t meet until 2 years ago anyway! Somehow we both wound up in the same state, thousands of miles from our childhood homes (which are also thousands of miles apart). It was meant to be!

I was (and am) 23, and DH was 28 (and had his 29th birthday a few days later)
It was the right age for us–He wanted kids before 30, and we had enough in savings to be comfortable. And when DH gets his next out of state promotion, we’ll be ready to go with a downpayment on our first house!

I was 29 and DH was 33. We had been together many years, and probably could/should have gotten married earlier, butwe wanted to wait until we could afford the wedding we absolutely wanted. We also had our son very early on in our relationship, and we wanted to wait until he was older so he would actually remember the wedding (since we didn’t get married before he came, we figured we wanted him to be old enough to know what’s going on).

- Wedding: May 2012 - El Faro Convention center, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
We were both 23 when we got married and I think it was the perfect time for us. We had been together 5 years at that point, had all our ducks in a row and were certain that we wanted to make it official.
While dating, I was initially hesitant about getting married so young and it was Mr.Boa who insisted we get married right after college. He said he was sure I was the one and that he wanted to face the real world aka: life after college, with me as his wife. That any adventure or growing we had to do, he wanted to do it by my side… How does a girl say no to that!

- Wedding: August 2011 - St. Joseph's Parish, Seattle Tennis Club
We were both 25 when we got engaged and 26 when we were married. It was a good time because we had been together around 5.5 years before getting engaged, and about 7 years by the time we were married. We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, and were already establishing things and settling in for the long-haul for life as a couple, so it just made sense to make things ‘official.’ We also wanted to enjoy some time together as a duo before we potentially added kids to the mix!
