You might try going to the lingerie/dress department of one of the nicer department stores or bridal salons in your area and asking them what they recommend..

Is it extra clingy because it has static? Turn it inside out and VERY lightly spray Static-Guard on it. Hold the can at a distance so it doesn’t wet the fabric. See if that helps.

I seriously may have tried on that dress.  I saw some that were basically white lingerie – I wondered if they should have been in the trousseau section, if there is such a thing anymore.  Gorgeous, and sexy, and I absolutely can’t imagine wearing any such thing in front of my father!!!
