@strawberryavalanche:Fiance and I saw it when it came out last year. It was definitely not a favorite of ours. It was just way too predictable, like all movies nowadays.

The disease moves through the water system sequentially – so the characters that live on the edges of town, or farthest away from the crash site, get it last, or don’t get it at all by the time ish gets real.

The military sweeps in as soon as people start getting sick because they knew about the plane crash, and were keeping an eye on the town via satellite.

Oh, and in case it wasn’t obvious, SPOILERS!

@strawberryavalanche: Well, they kind of leave it open whether the last two are infected or not, but I remember thinking that Timothy Olyphant probably got infected when he got stabbed through the hand with a bloody knife, but by the time they head into the bigger city and the movie ends, the 48-hour incubation wasn’t up yet. BUT WHO KNOWS? DUM DUM DUM…

@miss sparkly cat: I thought that it was pretty good, especially since I thought the original was kind of meh. But I wouldn’t recommend it to you if you don’t like scary movies.
