This ring was my great-grandmother’s, the center stone fell out so my parents replaced it with a ruby when they were in Sri Lanka a few years ago. My sister had it for a while but never wore it, so when she caught me drooling over it she gave it to me

The side profile is absolutely insane, I’m completely obsessed with it. And I LOVE how thin the band is, it’s about 1mm near the ruby but even thinner underneath. So dainty and delicate and lovely!

family heirloom ring – band was my great-grandmother’s wedding band, the diamond came from a set of earrings from my great-aunt, and my mother had the two set together for me. not sure the exact size, but guessing about .25ct (I have a size 7 finger). super sadly, i recently lost this ring while on a trip to greece…I cried for days (and still get super upset about it). this is the only picture I have of it. i miss this pretty so much ):heirloomring

StellaBride21:  Ooh, this is a GORGEOUS ring. I particularly love marquise cuts (I know I am probably in the minority), and this is just so beautiful!

Such pretty rings!!! This isn’t my Engagement Ring (I am still a waiting Bee), but this Opal/diamond beauty belonged to my mother, and its dainty-ness is what makes it so beautiful, in my opinion. I also love the gold band– I think it makes the opal pop ๐Ÿ˜Š

I’m not sure of the total carat equivalent here but it’s teensy tiny and I love it? Just came today. I love the milgrain bezel

Oooh here’s mine! Not a family heirloom but antique. We think it’s from around 1910? Center stone is around .17. The rubies are just a bit smaller. I told Fiance I didn’t want a big diamond and I wanted his birthstone too. I love it!
