Well my save the dates are finished…I havent mailed them out tho and they didnt take that long to do.
But I was on weddingchicks.com today and well.. I found a new template that I love too! and I would like to do that.
I am just so tempted to redo mine. I have the time to do it too. But just wether I should?
What do you think?
Current save the date no1 is the first pic.
2nd pic is the one Im tempted to do.

have you printed the first one? If so, I would keep it… just to save money.

Ive printed the first one all 95 and assembled, it didnt take me long tho.. It only cost me 20 dollars to do those tho as they were leftovers from another craft project. So money isnt really the issue.
Im just torn 🙁

If money is really not an issue, I would make 45 of the new design and send out half one design and half the other! There’s no rule that they have to all match!
Otherwise, I would say just go with what you already have. They are already made!

i voted to use the ones you already have. reason being is before WB i didnt know what save the dates were or were for – and im not alone with this, alot of people just do not know what they are for
what i like about your red ones is it clearly tells me whats happening – charis and sheridan are getting married on this date, invitiation to follow. the other one, although pretty is just a picture with a calander – i know if anyone in my family or hubbys got this the will be wondering what it is for so thats my reasoning on why you should keep the ones youve already printed 🙂

yeah true. however you can add wording with the template.. by the way thats not us in the picture or our date! I nabbed it off weddingchicks.com 🙂
Thanks for the input ladies. I just hate having a little doubt in my mind!

I voted keep the ones you have. They look cool and think of it as a cost saving measure and you can spend that money elsewhere. Otherwise you will have to buy more paper, spend more time, etc… and then the combo of the new STD’s and the old will put you much over the $20.

I’m voting the second one— I know the others are made and paid for– but the second one is really adorable! 🙂

Thanks ladies, its really close on the poll!
I have bought card today to experiment with the other one. I showed my FH what I wanted to do, he really likes the first one, but he said and i quote “your the perfectionist, you do what you want to do and ill help if your stressing out” dawww…
Im going to give it a shot- however we do not have a ‘great’ picture of ourselves, so we might take happy snaps tonight or FH reckons a good sketch would be nice.

Love them both! I’d probably redo them if this were me, just because I totally redid my Save-The-Date Cards twice 🙂

I voted for the second one. It seems that you really want to do them. And they are super cute!

I love them both…if it were me, I’d redo them, honestly. Because the second ones are amazing. But I’m just obsessive like that. I definitely think the ones you have a great, though.

I like the first one tons – I think they’re very, very cute. But something tells me you won’t be completely satisfied if you send them out … and the second one is definitely adorable – I’m betting you can even put all the nitty-gritty on the back … add “Save the Date” to the front so people would get it right away perhaps?

I love the second one but think the 1st one is a little more straightforward and might be easier for older guests to understand. Maybe use those for people who need something very clear and make some of the second ones for your friends and guests who are used to receiving Save-The-Date Cards.
