If you say no and someone has sexual contact with you anyway, it’s rape.
If you cannot consent and someone has sexual contact with you anyway, it’s rape.
PERIOD. Why is this so hard for people to understand? I’m not making this up or pulling it out my butt it’s the LEGAL definition of rape.
It is not contingent on intoxication or state of dress or previous statements or profession or ANYTHING. It’s really quite simple. The only person to blame in a rape is the rapist. The only person who should have behaved in any way differently in a rape is THE RAPIST. Dang.
Sorry to everyone who posted a personal story, and especially sorry to anyone who got victim blamed. People really suck. Anyone who victim blames is pretty much a bad person.
