@taylor.ashleys: The third dress is a mermaid, and my current is a a-line/ballgown with pickups in the back. Also I have a lace jacket, but this has lace sleeves, with a sweetheart neckline and a keyhole back …. some of the elements are similar, but it has the shape I love with the lace I feel like I’m missing. I also hate the dark color sash she’s wearing, and would my bling belt that I currently have.

The first dress is beautiful, but you gotta pick what makes you feel best!

Go with your gut! It’s your day, and you gotta do what feels right! When all else fails use your instinct 🙂 Good luck!

Sweetie, I did the SAME thing. I bought a dress very similar to the one you got yourself and I had dress regret and it’s the worst feeling in the world. I knew in my heart it wasn’t right. I posted it for sale on PreOwned Wedding dresses. It sold within 3 months and at that point, I searched for my new dress which has a similar silhoutte to dress #3 – timeless, gorgeous. I think #2 is nice but this tight mermaid style is done so much, #3 is AMAZING! Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Thank you! I actually posted an update on the Boards tonight … I should have added it here. I did end up purchasing a different dress today, my salon gave me a credit to put towards a new dress, so this is the dress that I got!
It’s WToo Noella 🙂

I LOVE that dress, you look amazing!

so you were able to trade in the original dress, at the same shop, and buy the new one? that’s amazing!
a bride’s gotta be happy with her dress, no doubt, but debt is not fun, and it’s really hard to resell a dress.

Congratulations! So happy the store gave you a credit, and you must be so much more comfortable in the dress that’s in the shape you wanted!

@mrs_g.mck: I grew up in Malden, but lived in Wakefield for a while too. We’re still not sure where we’re getting married.
I love your new gown btw! It looks so pretty and you look so much happier! Congrats!
