Maybe you’ve just been waiting for it for so long that you’ve been thinking about it too much. Don’t worry.  Once you wear it the day of – you will feel amazing.

You can buy some shaper underwear that may help achieve the hourglass image.

I totally understand!  Just remember, that is what alterations are for πŸ™‚

I had the same ‘effect’ between the first time I tried the dress on, and when they let me come back to try it on and take some photos.  The first consultant pinned it night and tight.  The second consultant (exact same sample dress) just very loosely pinned it, so I spent the whole time with horrible posture trying to keep my dress from falling down!  I HOPE it looks the way it did the first time when all is said and done!

Yes, but you already know that since you commented on my thread πŸ™‚

Are they not able to take in the dres from the side seams? I will find out tomorrow at my first fitting I guess. On me shaperwear just adds more thickness, don’t know if it works for you.

I had an (I guess unrealistic) expectation that my dress would fit like this : (photo is not of me or my dress):

Do you have any photos of your dress? I’m now curious since we seem to be complaining of the same thing.

It’s a beautiful dress!  I’m sure it will work out great once you have it properly fitted and everything πŸ™‚

Hmm, it’s another trumpet dress, from the same manufacturer JLM couture…Just like mine. I sense a trend πŸ™‚ And we’re getting married the same week! You dress is beautiful, I hope they’re able to fit it just right. Please keep us posted on how it goes and if they come up with some magic tricks to work like the clips in the back. Good luck to us both!
