@atreyu547:  Right-o! I figured they’re not far from my area of town, plus they carry a ton of lines and have dresses for ladies who are size 12+

The dress I loved an the first one to ever wow me is from Vera Wang (it was on sale at David’s bridal a little over 650$ ; a steal ! Unfortunately, my size was not available in Canada anymore and I couldn’t ship it from the United States) :

My dress is from Anjolique and I bought it 200$ pre-owned. It has a similar style :

I had dress regret (couldn’t picture myself spending all evening in such a heavy gown, and it didn’t feel like ”me” to wear white all evening either), so I found this Alyce dress, again that has similar style/cut that I liked in the VW dress :

I really think I found a way to have my ”dream” dress, even if it’s not the original designer dress, I still think their similarity is obvious and it’s enough for me to consider I have found the perfect gowns.

dream dress, vera wang ‘gemma’:

and me in the ‘gemma’ sample:  Sadly it was about $4000 over my budget. I ended up with this Martina Liana

side by side….they are SO different.

@lolot:  I love, love love your dress! It is beautiful (and it certainly looks very comfortable and light!). Do you mind me asking who made it?

@Anna10-05-2014:  I really love the dress that you got – I like how it looks like there’s a tulle overlay on top of the floral pieces. Do you mind sharing the designer?

@lolot:  ah! You are adorable. I love the lace and the flower crown instead of a veil. Totally gorgeous.
