Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking for a while, but I decided to take the plunge and post. I figure since I’ve started a Word document with wedding plans, I should probably join the waiting support group, lol.
I’ve been with my boyfriend for 1 1/2 years now and we’ve talked about getting married from the beginning. There’s really no question that we’re getting married, or that we’re getting engaged probably this calendar year. We live together in a house that he bought last summer with our three cats, or as we call them “our babies”. But of course, the anticipation is still killing me!
We’ve been looking at rings together and changed our minds from emeralds (my birthstone) to green tourmaline (still green and much more blingy). Mr. Masala is sort of sad the ring won’t be a surprise, but I hate surprises, and of course, the actual proposal will still be a surprise.
Just wanted to introduce myself…and share the e-ring we like the most so far!

Fi and I picked out the engagement ring together before he proposed. I was sad that say and he took me into a jewelers for fun to cheer me up and by complete chance, we found the perfect stone and it just went from there. We spoke to the jeweler and designed it exactly how I imagined it except for one thing – I never pictured that the stone I would want would be amethyst. I love it and it is a big bling ring, and it wasn’t really too expensive.
The engagement was still a suprise and I have a ring that I love, its a win win situation
