Just when i thought I had the scheme down, sis comes along during one of our brainstorming talks and shoots it down but together we worked on one that ..works!
Have you changed your colors? I swear I believed my colors were the best, but when we discussed possible venues, time of day of ceremony and reception (sunset ceremony, evening reception) the colors I wanted just seemed to fade and wilt and not hold up to the time of the event itself at all.
So..who’s a color changer along with me?
I hereby give up my original colors (shimmery pink, shimmery aqua, and black for background color) to anybody who wants em’! They’re lovely, but not for that time of day.

I’ve changed my colors a zillion times. The color scheme seems to be harder than anything else (for me). I’m sure we’ll figure it out soon!

Well mine’s set. i just cannot believe I (gasp) gave up the little black dress as the bridesmaids’ dress. That was my one thing I wanted to have so badly. But, it will seriously after much thought, not go with either venues or time of day we want to wed.
We’re still going with J Crew b’maids’ dresses though. A classic cocktail dress. And we may be doing a twist on those too. I’m going to go check them out and the colors along w/sis (we’re visiting online today) to decide on how we wish to proceed. Either same dress different styles or pick out whatever style you want, or different dresses and shades but same fabric in our colorscheme from J Crew.

I’ve gotten so fed up with trying to decide on colors that I’m considering not having a color scheme. Just doing cream linens, put the guys in brown suits, let the girls pick whatever colorful dresses they want (a la Mrs PowderPuff, I think), and then doing bud vases with various flowers, whatever’s in season, for centerpieces. Lots of colors.
Am I crazy?

Well, don’t make us all curious with no payoff, Bellenga! Now I’m dying to know! What are the new colors??
