That’s right ladies FINALLY! Now that I’ve been waiting for several years now I hope and pray the word finally doesn’t escape my mouth when he eventually proposes to me. Lets just face it, it’s will be on my mind for sure and I know it will at least be said to me by others HAHA! DI’d anyone say this or have thoughts about this or am I just being a little paranoid?

I hit my Fiance (playfully) and told him to shut up because he joked around so many times prior and I thought he was messing with me again. I felt like an idiot when he actually pulled out the ring… but it’s all cool 😀 he forgave me as soon as I said yes. lol

I didn’t drop the F-bomb but he did when he proposed! LOL! Good luck! 🙂

@Woodstock: That is hilarious! I bet you were really shocked, though!

@discodance: i mean I was shocked but not shocked since I was expecting a proposal sometime in the near future… just not in that location because I assumed he didn’t have a ring on him. Thankfully I did all of that before he actually ‘popped the question’ but he was babbleing on about something (I blanked on that b/c i was so happy) and in the process of dropping to his knee when I did the above. lol

@Woodstock: Aww, that’s really sweet and funny!

@skipanther: AHAHAHAHA! I’m going to be crying so much I really hope everything I say will be a jumbled mess so nothing bad escapes! :/

Haha that is so awesome! I didn’t believe Fiance when he proposed, like flyawaycricket. I said in a really sarcastic voice “Oh sure I’ll marry you” then he just kinda laughed at me like I was an idiot, and I asked him 10 times, are you serious, you’re not serious, you’re serious? Then I cried lol

@Mrs.Maeby: Aww, that’s so cute! I love hearing these stories.

I let one slip.
We were in a cemetary visiting his grandparents gravesite, and before he explained that he wanted them to witness the most important day in his life, I said, “We’re in a f*cking cemetary!”
After he explained in his proposal why he wanted to do it there, it made sense. And later I found out my grandfather had proposed to my grandmother the same way (his father died when he was 11 and he wanted his father to meet his soon-to-be wife)!

I laughed hysterically when he proposed. And he had to aske me “well….is that a yes?”
I totally left him hanging. I think i was just overcome with happiness he finally did it.
They are sweet stories that will always be important to you. Even if you do swear haha.

After so many times when I thought it would happen and didn’t, when I turned around to see him on one knee when a second earlier he’d been standing I was in so much shock that I just blurted out “f***ng hell Paul!” and jumped a foot in the air. Followed by a minute of crying, until I realised I had to actually respond and squealed “yes of course I love you”. I sooo wish that was the first thing out of my mouth.
I’m very embarassed but I suppose now we have a bit of a funny side to our engagement story. I think we’ll give the kids a clean version when they ask to hear it one day haha.

bahahaha! This literally made me laugh out loud at my desk!
When I first read the post, I thought you meant he used the F word in his proposal, ie. “WILL YOU F*CKING MARRY ME?” haha

This will be me. I just know it. haha
My SO is such a prankster that I’m really hoping he does it in a way where I know he’s being serious, but who knows. I just want him to! haha

I think the OP is worried that she’ll say the word “finally” and not the f-bomb we were all thinking.
