I went Arzelle’s in West End and tried on some dresses. The pictures were all taken right before we left, as I tried on all three in quick succession so we (re: me, my Maid/Matron of Honor Kat, and Ary, one of my BMs) could compare them.
This one was nice. Not really all that exciting, but nice.
It looks horrible in this picture, but I really like this one. When it’s properly put on and the hem properly arranged, it’s gorgeous. It makes me think of the pink dress Giselle wears in the beginning of Enchanted. Except, you know, it’s not pink, and the woodland creatures are sold separately.
This one was actually pulled for me by the girl helping us. I surprisingly liked it.
It’s really hard for me to decide what I’m looking for in a dress, because I’m under 5’0" with an extremely curvy figure. Ordinarily I would go for a short dresses, but I wear short dresses all the time. I’ve never worn a long one, not even to prom, and I really want to wear one for my wedding.
So yeah. I’m not ordering any dresses until August, when I come back from my internship at Disney World, but I’m looking now.
Oh, well. Onwards and upwards!

Ooh, exciting! It’s so nice that they let you take pictures. I like the third option best, but it’s hard to tell with the second one because it’s so long on you.
I hope you had fun, and can’t wait to see what you finally decide on!

Yay for dress shopping! I love the second one! Do share when you find "The One" 🙂

Your dress ideas thus far are very similar to the one I selected. I like the third one best. In case you are interested:
The first one is the dress I selected, however the second one is the same only with a fuller skirt.
Have fun shopping!

Thanks for sharing! Isn’t dress shopping fun?
I really like the V neck on you in the first one, but the elements of rusching in the 3rd one. It makes me wonder if you wouldn’t look spectacular in the Augusta Jones line… like Tia or Betina.
This Sophia Tolli looks spectacular on. It has a nice deep sweetheart neckline and the rusching through the middle that you liked (though more subtle).

I can’t see your pictures?? 🙁
