I thought my Fiance was a dork the first time I saw him… (turns out he really is! lol) Anyway I was going to a cabin party on an island with a few friends and he was coming too. We didn’t talk for the first few hours as I was nursing a hangover and he was starting to get tipsy. Once the party started we started talking and one thing led to another… I thought he was a pretty nice guy if he decided to talk to me again. The next day he sat with me on the boat ride back off the island and as I was hopping in my car he asked if he could take me out for coffee. So I hopped in his car he took me out and we talked for a few hours over coffee and then exchanged numbers and started dating a week later. We’ve been with each other every day since!

I met SO at work. I had been working there for several years and he was new. I started seeing him around, but the first time we locked eyed was one morning in the cafe. Then I started passing by his work area more often (on purpose) and we would talk/flirt. I would walk by to get snacks from this other guy’s desk, and he always complained that I never brought him anything. So one day I brought him some candy, and then one day be brought some peanuts to my desk (cause I told him I only liked healthy snacks).

Long story short, I went on vacation for a week afer that, so he thought I wasn’t interested. The day he saw me back in the office, he called my desk and asked me out on a date. Then thank God he got another job after about a month and we kept dating. The rest is history.

Ugh, I hate to say it. But I met my DH at a bar! Ew, I know. He walked pass a group of me and my friends with his cousin. I said, “I found one!” Puuuhahahaha…I know that sounds sluttyish, but I had never been so attracted to someone by first glance. My friend and I walked up to him and his cousin. She came up with some corny opening line as I stood there like a big nerd; not saying a word. I had never “picked up a guy” in a bar before. We ended up chit chatting at the bar for a couple of hours. We then headed back to my friends house and we had a mini house party. We exchanged numbers and started “exclusively dating” the following week. Within a few months, I asked him to move into my apartment. About 6 months later, we had our own house out in the country. And now, 11 months later…we’re married!

It’s funny, I’ve done the whole…4 year, 3 year, 2 year relationship thing; but never felt the feelings I do with Adam. My life just felt complete and content when he came into it.

I met Adam the day of my deceased mothers birthday. I think she was looking out for me that day, making sure our paths crossed.  πŸ™‚

Ok, my story is pretty funny.. I was the date of a highschool friend to his Air Force Academy ring dance. (Its a big deal at the academy and I think the second largest military ball after the inagural ball). Anywho, My date and I were just hanging out and meeting/greeting his friends… and Fiance was one of them! LOL! He came up at greeted my date with a hand shake which I stole (by accident,,,, I thought he was going to shake my hand.. I was a bit…Embarassed lol) And he introduced himself to me. We talked for a couple seconds.. I insulted him (Our home countries are rivals in everything..he said that his dad visited my country and then asked if I have ever been to his.. I said I have no need to intentionally go to hell.. or something like that). After I came home to FL, my date posted pics on FB of us.. Fiance commented on one of them and insulted me back lol! We started talking from there on FB.. then texting during class.. then on the phone.. then I flew out to see him 6 months in πŸ™‚ He greeted me in the airport with the BEST first kiss ever! It was all history from there.. (Oh..and my date was NOT happy about us hooking up and never talked to either of us again.. LOL!)

@MrsNeutrino: Hehe! I really do believe that. My Mother would have adored Adam. I think it was fate that we met…and I think my Momma had a little something to do with it. Wink

It was definitely “love at first sight”. There was something really intense about him, and I knew as soon as I met him that we would be together someday. It didn’t happen for another 2 years, but we still got together πŸ™‚

I went to a restaurant with one of my roommates during my freshman year of college just a month after getting out of a long term relationship. That day, I was feeling particularly lonely, and I confided that in her. As we were walking back to our dorm with our bellies a bit too full, she reached down into her purse to see that she had pocket dialed one of her high school friends. She wasn’t all too happy, saying he was quite the talker and didn’t have the time to keep up with him (he can talk for 2 hours straight about nothing; I love it!). She decided that we would be absolutely perfect for each other.

Once we got back into the dorm, she showed me his facebook and I became completely smitten with the idea of him. She told me all about his personality; he’s a lot like my dad, with whom I am very close, an all American boy with an incredibly goofy and out-there personality. In other words, he’s amazing. πŸ™‚ We turned on a movie, and he called back! She gave him my number and facebook, and we started talking from there.

The first day we talked, he asked me to his college’s formal dance. He’s in state, which made it easy, but the dance was 2 weeks away and I didn’t even have a dress! I went out to buy a dress (my birthday present for that year), and drove all the way up to where he went to school without even meeting him in person first.

The school he goes to is a military school; as a freshman, he wasn’t allowed to have his cell phone with him, so when I got to the school, I didn’t know where to park or where to find him, and I had no way to reach him. After an hour of walking around, I heard someone call out my name. I turned around, and the world stopped…I’ve never seen someone as handsome as him. After many conversations, I found out that the moment was the same for him. Anyway, we had a great time at the dance and went out for ice cream afterwards. That entire weekend went so perfectly…I left the next day after he gave me two hugs, and we started texting non stop for the next month and a half. Now, we may be quite far from actually getting married (after he graduates), but we are going strong with no stop in sight. πŸ™‚

This was way too long…sorry about that. :/ I just love this story, though. πŸ˜‰

When RRR and I met, I was actually still dating my ex. It was at the end of that relationship and I knew it too. I was in a terrible mood that night because I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out a few days prior.

Anyways. We met at a wedding. SO was the best man. He tried talking to me in the limo after the wedding, and it was just small talk. I told him I was going to school and that I was working as a CNA. My ex offered me to be a taxi driver later that night, calling me around 1:30 to come pick everyone up and take them home. I was annoyed. But, I took SO home. I remember thinking that he had a nice house and that I could picture myself there. Corny, I know… I broke up with my ex 2 weeks later, and I didn’t really want anything to do with guys.

A couple of months later, I was out for Halloween, and I noticed him. So of course, I went over to go say hi. But I was with a group of friends who were also my ride. So the conversation was short lived.

At the beginning of December, I was out again, and I noticed him again. This time we finally got to exchange numbers. I guess the rest is history. lol, but with heels on, I am taller. I was really self conscious about that at first, but not so much anymore. πŸ™‚

We were too young to remember.  We lived next door and used to sit at the fence and talk. Cool

These are so cute πŸ™‚

I was in high school, and I first remember seeing him around school freshman year. I actually didn’t think about him much, because I thought he was out of my league. He was cute, on the varsity waterpolo and swim teams as a freshman, and really nice, and we didn’t run in the same social circles at all.

But fate stepped in senior year. We were in the same AP statistics class, and I really started to notice his amazing muscles and cuteness since he sat in front of me. He was my eye candy for that class πŸ˜› One day he randomly joined in on a conversation I was having with my friend, and we had this instant connection once we started talking. We’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since. He actually dropped that class the next day (not because of me, because of his huge workload). If he hadn’t taken that class in the first place, we would have graduated and never looked back :O

Well, my story is rather interesting. I had recently purchased a pair of Tripp pants (Wide-leg pants typically decked out with various straps and chains). I mostly wore them for special occassions or to hang out with friends. However, I decided to be adventurous one day and opted to wear them to classes at the college I was attending at the time.

My mother, upon seeing me getting ready to leave, insisted that I should not wear the pants because they would give people the wrong idea, or possibly give the impression I was in a gang. I decided she was being a bit overdramatic and wore them anyway. While waiting for my class to being I was sitting around in the campus Student Union, when a girl approached me to compliment the pants. The same pants that were most certainly going to make people afraid of me, as my mother had claimed.

Well, the girl sat down at my table and we got to talking. In fact we were having such pleasant conversation that I nearly lost track of time and missed my class. I found that she was around campus the same times that I was, and we agreed to meet up the next time I was around.

To make a long story short, we’re now planning on getting married and spending the rest of our lives together, all because I disregarded my mother’s advice and wore the pants she said I should not wear.

We met online, but the frist time we met in person was at a coffee shop.  Actually the coffee shop was next door to a bookstore.  He arrived before I did, and decided to look around the book store for some music.  The frist time I laid eyes on him was when I found him among the bookshelves.
