@New2moissanite:  there will be a gap between my e-ring and my wedding bands, since my halo is stands out from the band…but I love it…IMO it just makes it that much more unique! 🙂

I prefer my rings to sit flush.  I’m still trying to get used to wearing 2 rings so a gap would drive me crazy.

I am wearing two bands…one is curved and they aren’t flush against my e-ring but I don’t mind at all..

My ERing has a tapered band so if I wanted the wedding band to sit flush I would have needed a curved band. However, it was really important to me to be able to wear my wedding band alone so for that reason I dismissed a curved band. I prefer mismatched styles, especially those with a gap, because I like the look of two district rings and not just one ERing with a wide shank

Mine will have a baby gap. The actual matching band for my ering is slightly curved and wouldn’t have a gap. But I like the gap and this ring was also $800 cheaper. Win-win.

It would bother me so I don’t have one.  I had a custom set made so they sit together nicely.

I don’t mind a gap at all! I didn’t realize it was even something that put any thought into before reading threads here on weddingbee.

I think that rings look a little odd when they sit perfectly flush. To me a wedding band and an engagement ring are supposed to be, and look like, two separate rings.

If I wanted the design to sit completely flush to my engagement ring, I would have an engagement ring that looked that way on its own.

I’m also a big fan of the gap!! I had a custom contour ring made to create a gap. I’ve sinced added a straight band in rose gold, which adds more gaps. Love how airy and vintage it all feels 🙂

New2moissanite:  My band has a slight curve and I actually just got it soldered to my three stone today.  I like my rings a little on the loose side and, yes, the curved band was always spinning and rubbing against the three stone.  They were soldered with a tiny gap and I love it!!
