Scintillante:  Your set is one of my favorites on the bee! A perfect example of rocking the gap! The rose gold looks beautiful too

I have a slight gap. I had to have my band custom made because of the uniqueness of my Ering.

I don’t like huge gaps, so I had a custom sleeve/wrap made for my wedding band.  Due to the nature of my e-ring style, gaps are inevitable, but I like the small gaps throughout the set as opposed to the large ones that would have resulted from a straight wedding band.

Your set is gorgeous! But what’s up with the red X on the hands?

I like the look of bigger gaps on other people. I have seen many pictures here on WB of sets with large gaps, and, without fail, I always think it looks beautiful.

But I don’t like the look of a bigger gap on my own finger. Which is probably weird, but …

My current set has an eeny-meeny-teeny gap. It’s unavoidable, because it is a mis-matched set of rings. I thought it would drive me bonkers, but it doesn’t.  I love the way it looks. But I also really like rings that sit completely flush, so I have this dream/goal of one day getting a wedding band custom made for my set. That way, I can have the best of both worlds: a gap when I want … or no gap, if that’s my mood.

New2moissanite:  I think its personal choice I really didn’t care either way. I feel like for atleast the first 5 years I’ll being wearign both but may change my mind once kids play  facot and its just easier with the band. I have a straight band and a halo ring so there is a gap in it. But I love it because they are still on it own even tho they work well together. if I had gotten a curved ring I would still rock it by itself to so I honestly wouldn’t had mattered. Whatever ring you love most let that be the ring you wear.

on the person. I think smaller fingers look good with a gap. But I have big fingers

New2moissanite:  to be honest I won’t have this as my e-rings very high set, but I am aware that if it wasn’t the gap would BUG me stupid

My old set had a gap..it was a low set basket solitaire with a straight eternity band..the gap drove me nuts not only did I not like the way it looked but it was very uncomfortable..after losing my solitaire I got a whole new wedding set with a curved band and had them soldered together and I love it!

I couldn’t handle the idea of my rings spinning or rubbing, so there is no way I could handle a gap. So I had my rings soldered together. I think some gaps look really pretty, but personally, I couldn’t do it.

I have lots of gaps but that’s part of its personality 🙂
