I made it through a 2 hour rehearsal for a flash mob!

Dinner is sauteed eggplant and zucchini pasta and it’s in the oven, ready for my husband to come home and eat it.

I bought, put together and placed a wall unit for our landing strip near the door.

I took some items to the Goodwill.

I scrubbed the walls, mopped the bathroom and kitchen.

I washed and folded five loads of clothes, towels and sheets.

I woke up hungover lol So I’m proud of myself for going to the gym!  I gave myself a much needed manicure and then cooked dinner (Tilapia with asparagus over rice).  But I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom on Friday afternoon and then found my wedding dress on Saturday, so I do feel like I accomplished a lot of “GOLD STAR” worthy tasks this weekend =)

I went to the early church service where I was baptised this morning.

Planned out our wedding day timeline

Printed, cut, and addressed our rehearsal dinner invitations

Tried my own “wedding day make up trial”

Printed out timelines for the bridal party and VIPs

Cleaned my house from top to bottom

Made my packing list for my 2 weeks home before the wedding (which includes a wedding, a shower, and a rehearsal!)

Now, after ALL that, I need to figure out what to have for dinner since my wonderful fiance had to work all afternoon.  BOO!!!

Today I…

Made the ‘cards’ sign for my cardbox

Straightened up the ‘wedding room’ (spare bedroom holding all our wedding crap)

Sat down with FH and picked out all of our linens, chair covers, etc and made a date to order them

Did some laundry and dishes

Vegged out on the couch with FH and watched a ton of Six Feet Under season 5.  LOL!

Today I did two loads of laundry, and my mom is helping me (okay, I’m helping her) make a clutch purse. This trial one is for me, but we’re going to make another as part of my MOH’s gift.

Yesterday my partner and I started putting together our wedding day emergency kit (he’s totally into it!) and went to mass at the church where we’re getting married so we could meet the musicians and schedule a consultation. Yay!

LOL wow you’ve done a lot today! Good job!

Today, I’ve:

-gone to church
-had brunch
-completed by 365 Photo Project for the day (http://deebs365.blogspot.com/)
-added finishing touches to the final guest list
-started making DVD’s (we watch tv shows at work & I’ve had them on my comp and finally started to put them on DVD’s)
-bought bird food
-researched FI’s ring (still haven’t found the right one)
-decided to order invitation envelopes instead of DIY

and then I plan to finish organizing our response cards with the guest list 🙂

  • Made my husband a birthday cake from scratch, along with frosting from scratch.
  • Sewed a shirt!  It was really easy and only took an hour, but still.  I can’t wait to wear it.
