I will be honest and say that both are beautiful but I want to say don’t decide yet, nor is it fair to have us vote yet.

Every dress is soooo different on the individual. With you just starting out shopping, I’d say pick some to try on but also, try on others. Have the consultant pick some out that they feel might be good for your body. You might be surprised.

I don’t feel that I could vote without seeing dresses on YOU. I’m 5’3 and I know that I fell soooo in love with a dress and when i ordered it and it came in I absolutely hated it so bad I cried for a couple days and knew I had to sell it and find another.

Take the time, have on the right undergarments, go in and take your time and try on a lot more dresses. (although if you select one of these, I don’t blame you. Both are breathtaking. I love the blush color).

Without considering how each dress looks on you in particular, I voted La Sposa with the sparkle skirt upgrade! I think adding the layer of sparkle will give you the shimmer you are looking for. I also think reading your post, it sounds like it has everything you wanted and there are so many pros. I know you felt the feeling in the first dress, but maybe the second was just too rushed to decide.

I think you should go back and take your time. Either one is a beautiful choice! I also didn’t take price into consideration because 100 over budget is not much at all if you decide that’s what you want. I just thought maybe the La Sposa would give you everything you needed once you made the alterations.

Good luck! And try posting the photos of you so you can get better feedback!

Firstly, tshey are both beautiful dresse and Iwould like to say you have great taste!

I would suggest you book an appointment at that store when you have time to fully enjoy the process and consider the dresses carefuly. There may even be a couple of other styles that the consultant can suggest for you to try. It’s so easy to become overwhelmed with “OMG I’m going to be a bride, that any dress can make you feel gushy in the beginning.

That being said, of the 2 dresses you have posted and taking into consideration your described figure, I prefer the Eresa – it has an amazing bodice with beautiful detail and the slight v shape in the front will make your hips appear smaller and elongate you. I also prefer a tulle skirt, but I wouldn’t add sparkle as I think the star of the show should be the top of the dress which frames your face.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I can usually choose my favorite dress, but can’t this time because they are so similar! I would need to see photos of them on you to make a decision. They’re both pretty! You should try them on again without rushing and see how you feel about the La Sposa.

I agree they’re both extremely similar and I think you should to try them on again , along with other options. That being said, I voted for the dress 2 with sparkle skirt mostly because I like tulle 😀

Honestly as I scrolled down.. Dress number 2 made me gasp a little lol and even though they are so similar and both beautiful I love the top and the skirt on dress #2 more. But I really don’t think u can go wrong with either. 🙂

You need to go back to the shop and try them both on when you are not rushed and then make a decision.

happyhappyhappa:  when you go to sleep at night, which one do you dream about or imagine yourself in at your wedding?

I got a plain satin dress with pleated bodice. I tries on a full lace mermaid, greek godess style one shoulder, and ball gown. All would have done the job, but nothing was me like the dress I choose. It should maybe have some more bling or a belt or something, but once I accessorized it with earrings and veil that was the dress. So think about the overall look and choose the dress that is you, and you see yourself in on the day.

For the styling between the dresses, if you miss the bling in the pronovias skirt you could go for a long veil with sparkles in and some sparkly or otherwise statement shoes. You may not nessarily want head to toe sparkles as that might be too much, it could be like snowing legs and boobs. But the pronovias could be more interesting if you layer the look with jewelery, shoes and veil highlighting details. Maybe talk to the consultant about how they would style the dress, and even try on some different shoes and veils with each.

Then its just a matter of how you see yourself on the day!
