I am having a internal struggle to do chair covers or not… When I try and think back to weddings I have have attended I can not recall thinking about chairs or chair covers. So are they really that important?!?!?
My color is dark purple…. the tables are going to be drapped in floor length white linens, whith a short purple linen stacked on top. The centerpieces are a black wrought iron typle candle holder, with white flower petals.
Here is a picture of my venue with and without the chair covers… what are your thoughts?

Without! If you do with , the chairs will really stand out as white against all the other dark colors.
As they are the blend in nicely.

I hate chair covers with a flaming passion. Too much fabric in the room!! The chairs in your venue will look great without.

I have similar chairs in my venue and decided to forgo the chair covers. I don’t think they are necessary and agree that with the darker linens on top of the tables it will be fine. Plus the pictures you show are really examples of the one photo that will be taken showing the chairs without covers, the rest of your photos will be taken once there are people sitting in them so it won’t matter.

i hated chair covers when i started to plan, BUT NOW i love them!! and I also did them for my wedding. It adds so much more of a “fancy” touch than sans covers.
Go for it, looks beautiful!

I think it’s a personal preference but I would go with the chair covers in this case. 🙂

I think that in this case the chairs are nice enough that you don’t need covers.

I agree with the “too much fabric in the room.” Chair covers tend to be a shiny satiny material which is just too much. I can’t stand chair covers. If they were done differently maybe but the typical ones like the picture above. Ick.
