We have a duvet that I love. The hardest part for me is finding duvet covers that I like. There is just not a big selection in stores or online. I’ve washed the cover a few times and I suppose it’s easier, but if you have a big washing machine then I don’t think it makes a big difference. I just love it because it’s so soft/cushy.

Duvet x 1000000. Also I think it’s cleaner. We wash the duvet a few times a year, but the duvet cover every week along with our sheets

Duvet 100%. Easier to clean, you can swap out the inserts for different seasons, you can change the duvet cover for a new look less expensively than getting a new comforter

Duvet. You can throw it in with some bleach because it’s white. I love bleach! And you can change the look whenever you want. I sleep with a dog so I prefer the flexibility of a duvet.

I prefer a comforter there’s more selection, and its easier to make the bed

I used to be all about my duvet, but I feel like even if you fasten the corners, the insert slides around and gets bunchy. These days, I have an amazing lightweight, yet fluffy microfiber comforter that is sooooo soft and breathable. Team Comforter!

I hate my duvet because the inside ‘quilt, comforter, down blanket etc’ slides all around inside. Some have like clips in the corners etc. . . I perfer a nice thick fun quilt.

mrslovebird12 :  Comforter. It’s washable (supper important with pets). Duvets make me itchy and sneezy and ypu cant wash them as easily.

mrslovebird12 :  Duvet! Especially with pets, it’s so much easier to keep clean IMO. Plus, you can change up the look anytime you want with minimal cost and keep the quality comforter.

Wait hold on! Isnt Duvet filled with feathers/down? And comforter is filled with sinthetic or nothing and is just thick cloth?

We got a new comforter from my mother in law at my brial shower. It was ripped in a week due to the dog jumping on the bed but our dog is a big guy. I love both to be honest but I would rather have a million blankets on the bed and turn on the fan to keep the room cool so I’m biased haha
