Your dress is lovely, you would look stuning in your big day! And you know what? since your dress is modern and is not so full with sparkles or lace, you have the perfect opportunity to wear a mantilla veil. Its all about balance, if the dress is too full with details, accesories and veils should be more plain so you dont look so loaded, but if your dress is more minimal, the mantilla veil would complement it perfectly, i believe youll look perfect.
You just have to pik the kind of lace in your mantilla that goes well with your dress fabric. I dont know what youre thinking but i think a cathedral lenght would look beautiful!

I wore an all lace dress with a mantilla veil (my mothers from 1977). I think you can wear a mantilla with any fabric dress, you just need to pick the right lace and weight mantilla.

I think mantilas can be gorgeous with the right dress and with the right wedding. They definitely aren’t for everyone, but the are really lovely. I tend to like ones with thinner edging as the thicker edging can be a bit overpowering.

Here is my mantilla veil. My dress was lace with beading and it wasn’t overwhelming at all. People were blown away by the veil–they loved it!
